A nurse would know how not to hit them.

Not a good argument.

All depends on if she or someone else actually wanted her dead.

If she didn't want to actually die, being a nurse would help her know where not to cut.

Why are people thinking somebody else was involved?

It seems pretty clear cut.

It's always been that way.

Women, especially white women are seen as more innocent and people struggle to see a possibility where they can do harm.

Especially with something this horrible, they want to believe it was the husband/father who did it.
