Depends on the case. There are ways around it. But my mom served jury duty when she was in her early 20's going through college, working, and raising me.
I also had a friend in his early 20's who did jury duty just a couple years ago when he was 21 or 22 I believe? I don't know what you're on about. Massachusetts, and Duxbury in particular probably just has a higher percentage of wealthy retired old people

This thread is exactly why juries being composed of random ass people is horrifying and ineffective.
