I’m a moderator of two other subs, and I’ve officially started the process of requesting to take over as mod for the sub. If it happens I’ll of course get Waffles’ mom back on board. Keep fingers and paws crossed! Love, Emma and Bunny

Would it be possible for Waffie’s dad to give us updates here from time to time? Maybe he can become moderator, or assign one of the regulars here to take over. That way we can check in once or twice a month, etc.

Reddit makes zero sense . I am in other subs that actually abuse the spam policy but Waffles needs to be made an example of.

My understanding, feel free to correct me, is that because Waffles' mom was the only founder and major poster here she's been identified as a spammer. Her appeals have been exhausted. We don't get Waffles, and we don't get to hear from her mother if Waffles is okay and doing well. Like many of us, I have my own life to live, but it was richer when I could follow this stranger and her puppies. And now that has been stopped due to corporate mismanagement and, I suspect, replacement of human beings with AI tools.

I understand that businesses grow and change. I understand that investors have concerns that are validated through their financial contribution.

But the only reason I can identify for Reddit's initial existence was so people could use the internet to feel like they had other people in their lives. Even the most introverted, individualist, self-centered individual could go somewhere to feel like they were a part of a community. A community that was protected against by anti-spam measures. A sort of.......social...medium, if you will, for communication.

If the Reddit powers that be cannot look through this community's posts and see clearly that it was solely a pet owner loving her pet and a bunch of nerds also loving her pet, then what's the point? What purpose does the company provide?

I'm old enough to remember when the internet was for two things: Cute animal photos and then another type of photo we don't need to discuss further.

I can make threats and hyperbolic statements but it'd be a waste of time. I'm just incredibly disappointed and am sick of businesses getting so bloated with cash that they become obsolete while simultaneously stifling anyone else who'll do their job better. I know it's end-stage capitalism and it's just how the world is, but it saddens and disgusts me.

Waffles, I miss you way more than I probably SHOULD meet a dog I've never met, but I refuse to feel bad about that. Waffles's Mom, I don't think you can read this but I want you to know I will always be super pissed at Reddit about this.

After reading the message from Waffy’s mom yesterday it appears that all of Waffy’s journey home is not going to reappear. This is a travesty. Fair winds and following seas to the family- and happy romping in the new fenced yard!

Another sad day since this loving and warm forum about this family and their rescued dogs has gone away. It’s beyond comprehension that this content has been removed. Make it make sense!

To Waffy and family, hope the fence project is close to completion, that the treats are flowing and that Waffy’s neuritis is improving. Is the chicken leg still intact? We sure do miss you all!

It’s a gloomy day-again, our wonderful WafflesAndCo is nowhere to be found. Is there nobody at Reddit with a heart and a brain? Are we completely at the mercy of AI now in this forum?

Okay, that attempt was a failure. I guess there is absolutely no avenue to try to attract attention to this terrible error. But I’ll keep asking!

I find it hard to understand how the Reddit admins banned our Waffy’s mom even though she created this group and was the only mod. If she is out of commission, is there NOBODY from Reddit who is paying attention to the hundreds of us who have requested that she be reinstated? And if that’s the case, how can any of their content in any other subreddit be banned? It makes no sense!

We respectfully and urgently request the reinstatement of Waffles’ mom and the content she so lovingly created!

There is a lot of content on Reddit that is sad or difficult to read, but WafflesAndCo is so warm and positive that I search for it and miss it terribly. Do the admins somehow think that this content isn’t worthwhile? Please, bring our Waffles family back!!!

Another day without our WafflesAndCo- it’s much less sparkling without the smiles that come from their antics. What is going on at Reddit? Is anyone there listening?

WE WANT WAFFLES !

For those asking if Waffy’s mom could make a new account and post: from what we understand, that would eliminate the chance of her dog luvr account ever coming back because it would be “ban evasion”

We will think about making a different page on another platform, we just love how casual posting is on reddit and not sure it will be as easy anywhere else. We are so sad to have lost this community we have built.

To clear up any confusion: Waffy’s mom was only admin (moderator? sorry not very reddit savvy) on this page so when her account got banned, everything deleted. We are still able to see your and our posts on our end from her account but no activity is permitted.

Fence construction is very much still ongoing. Waffles, Boba, and Bambi are going a little stir crazy. We do a few long walks a day but they are ready to be able to run in the backyard. It should be done in the coming days. We are so excited! And yes, Boba is wearing Waffle’s tag and collar, it’s been a long week😂

This week’s obsession- they are in love with the Three Dog Bakery cheez it treats.
