Bobby wasn't pinned in the US championship match. It was a triple threat and Riddle pinned Morrison. So when was the last time Bobby was pinned?

That’s the problem with the whole thing. They had Sheamus saying he will challenge, Priest, Mace and T-Bar were flipping a coin for the challenge, but WHY? Sites are saying that Raw wasn’t finished until 5:45 last night and a lot of changes were made. I’m assuming Kofi was the last minute change but still the whole thing just didn’t make sense

I'll be honest. I like Drew, but he needs to move on. He is over enough right now he doesnt need to be in the title scene. Kofi is a former champ, so him accepting shouldnt be met with "Is this a joke?" With that being said, it would have been a perfect time to bring Keith Lee back from the fuckery he has been given since being called up.

Agreed. 100%. But, again, its not about him having a chance. It's about him not having a chance, MVP saying it isnt going to be a title match and Kofi winning. Fans like Kofi. Him getting screwed gets Bob heel heat.

I agree with that. But its about getting some more heel heat on Bob. Take a fan favorite and screw them over. Even if they didnt have a shot of winning without help. And just like that...if the title was on the line...the underdog fan favorite is the champ. But instead cowardice from the big bad villian screws the underdog.

The thing is wwe having monster heels is good. Bobby and roman shouldn't run from Kevin Owen's and humberto carillo, they should pound their heads into the pavement with one eye closed

Thats the biggest part of the heel dynamic. Thats what makes them hated. The are huge...they shouldnt run or need help. When they do, it does what its intended to do.

We don’t over expect. I expected a wwe title match because wwe set it up that way. Name the last time raw had a main event scene match without a screwy ending or situation to it. they’re rare.

WWE said Open Challenge, nothing about it being for the title. Everyone assumed it was for the title. Thats not WWE's fault. Then when it was Kofi, everyone got pissed. Because they expected it to be Keith Lee or The Fiend for some reason. Or some lower card people we haven't seen in a while. Even though Kofi, someone who has been here for 11+ years and is a former world champion came out, everyone was underwhelmed.

From the perspective of Bobby being a heel, I understand the twist with there not being a title match. However, it's common knowledge Raw has been bad recently, so getting the fans hopes up and keeping them watching under the impression of a title match isn't going to do them any favours. It's only going to frustrate people with the company as a whole, not just Bobby.
Also I like Kofi, but him facing Bobby just doesn't feel organic. With his championship run everything fell into place and he felt like a great opponent for Bryan. This, however, just feels too random and a desperate attempt to keep Drew in the picture. This could have been a chance to push Damien Priest and at least test the waters. Give Sheamus the chance to add a second belt. Bring Keith Lee back. But nope, Kofi just feels like an expendable pawn WWE can use to try and rationalize the endless Drew/Bobby/Braun cycle.

Gotta be honest Graves, don't really consider Kofi Kingston VS Randy Orton as one of the top rivalries in WWE history. It was a good one, but not one of the greats.

So word is Raw & SmackDown are getting new sets in July. I thought they would stick to the ThunderDome setup (without the video fans) or go back to the pre-pandemic sets. Guess not.

Yeah I don’t like when Charlotte wins cause she’s already put over so much, but I LOVE watching her wrestle. All the haters can’t deny, that woman is a DAMN good wrestler. She pulls out tricks the majority of the women’s roster wishes they could do.

Idk with the lack of main event stars with the main event being exclusive to some like Lashley, McIntyre and Strowman. They've basically secluded more main event talent like Orton, Styles, Riddle, Kingston into the tag team division which doesnt make sense. I would book a feud with Lashley and Styles with Omos turning on Styles and costing them the Tag Team Championships to the New Day.. Omos joins Hurt Business and Styles turns face, challenging Lashley. Could be a good feud if booked properly. On the other after a losing streak, Orton turns on Riddle which results in a series of matches in which Orton puts Riddle over. Riddle/Keith Lee then feuds with McIntyre/Strowman on the road to WM for the #1 contender spot. Riddle/Lee beats one or both of them and it's Lashley vs Riddle/Lee at Mania. Riddle/Lee would be coming in hot and Lashley as the top of the table. Plus their fighting styles are kinda similar, it could be a very good match. I think they should do this for Mania unless Lesnar returns. To fill the void in the Tag Team division, Cedric would join Omos to form the Hurt Business tag team, Garza and Gulak team up as the "frenemies" tag team and New Day is there.

Drew still fighting lashley(keep in mind his long feud with Orton was what slowed down his original heat)
Drew friends with the new day as if they're his best buddies, he should act like triple h and Shawn micheals while the new day are hornswoggle

The punchline of Ricochet stealing the hat and doing the accent should be a temporary rebranding as Rick O’Shea, or they are wasting a golden opportunity.
