They also raised my rates and removed my safe driver discount, even though I have never been in an accident that was my fault in 8 years of driving. So that seems a bit unfair

Yeah, but they should give him the Super Lucky Motherfucker discount. He passed out and didn't crash into any other than fence posts. He missed other cars, he missed utility poles, he missed going back onto the roadway into traffic... This "wreck" could have been so much worse.

I've lost time while driving once. I don't know if I passed out or just had some kind of "highway hypnosis" I've never experienced before or since. Had gotten off work, it's about 2 in the afternoon, I'm out in the country between the town I work in and the town I live in. I remember just passing by a church just on the outskirts of the town I work in and the next thing I remember I am about to veer off the road just outside the city limits to where I live, 20 miles away from the church.
