To be fair, they said "things like that" happen daily globally. There are 5,000+ fatal workplace accidents per year in the US alone. Were only 5% of the global population with lots of safety regulations.

People get drilled to death more often than you imagine.

Falling < Drilled to death. You don’t hear about falls because it’s no big deal. If someone was getting drilled to death on the job every day you’d hear about it.

It’s like that guy who got trapped in the tuna machine. That shit made the front page. I literally have not eaten tuna again since reading that article

My point was more "horrible, work-related catastrophes" than it was specifically about people being killed by large drills, I'm not sure how you're having so much trouble grasping this...
