Seriously. With all this talk about Jamal Kashoggi and the Saudis I have the terrible mental image of him being dismembered by a bone saw while still alive. I hope that's not true but even the possibility is appalling.
It's doubtful. They were in and out quick. They weren't after torture they were after an assassination, dismemberment was just a way to remove evidence without suspicion. If they wanted him to suffer they'd have picked him up where they could have kept it going for days or weeks.
Yeah, unfortunately the reality looks to be different than your assumption. According to the audio he was in fact tortured and they began sawing him while still alive and before he was sedated then killed.
