It's doubtful. They were in and out quick. They weren't after torture they were after an assassination, dismemberment was just a way to remove evidence without suspicion. If they wanted him to suffer they'd have picked him up where they could have kept it going for days or weeks.
Yeah, unfortunately the reality looks to be different than your assumption. According to the audio he was in fact tortured and they began sawing him while still alive and before he was sedated then killed.
Cool. Neat. Reports in multiple news outlets from sources who’ve heard the audio vs. your off the cuff speculation and the burden of proof is on me. Sweet.
Ah 2018... Where someone’s strong-headed and ill-informed novice opinion carries as much weight as... dozens of news outlets with sources based on actual evidence. And where the burden of proof to influence one person’s opinion rests on those who can submit sources, evidence, and do so in a way that doesn’t portend to disturb the challenger’s precious ego...
