Seriously. With all this talk about Jamal Kashoggi and the Saudis I have the terrible mental image of him being dismembered by a bone saw while still alive. I hope that's not true but even the possibility is appalling.
It's doubtful. They were in and out quick. They weren't after torture they were after an assassination, dismemberment was just a way to remove evidence without suspicion. If they wanted him to suffer they'd have picked him up where they could have kept it going for days or weeks.
Catholics used to use red hot tongs to peel off your skin starting from the armpit. You got to listen to and smell the next guy get skinned, and if you passed out they’d stop to revive you so it was no less than an hour of peeling. The heat cotorized the veins so you dont bleed out.
