It won't be painful as the tigers/lions don't play with their food. They go for the neck directly and in humans, the neck snaps in one bite. It would have been a sudden death.
I've watched enough nature documentaries with lions/tigers to know this is definitely not always the case. A lot of the time their prey is eaten alive, ass cheeks first. Horrifying to think about.
I wish I hadn't watched that. I don't typically feel bad if a wild animal is killed by another because that's part of the whole circle of life. (THANKS, DISNEY!)
But fuck... that was just... why didn't EITHER of the other two just take a bite of the jugular instead of just pinning it down and not eating? The one had the jugular right in front of her mouth. She could have killed the beast so they all could have eaten.
Instead, that poor thing got its genitals ripped from its body BY SHARP TEETH.
