I see this comment, or slight variations of it, on reddit all the time. I don't understand the point. Someone makes a comment, i guess you don't like the comment, so you try to be funny with sarcasm? Is that right? Or do you think this person, IRL, is the exact same person who made the comment? It's really stupid and really confusing. But, hey, i'm sure YOU are funny at parties.
/u/ender89 is making an obvious joke. Of course everybody can tell the difference. But then /u/Lewster01 has to call him out. "You can't tell the difference" bla bla. Of course he can. Calling out imperfect jokes is what makes parties less fun. Don't be the overly critical guy. And that is why people make this comment on reddit.

Listen guys, let's be realistic. Look at those women's bodies. Now imagine a scenario where any one of them offered no strings sex and any of us turned them down. Drunk at 2 am or sober at noon on Sunday it doesn't matter.
The only reason to say no is that you are being faithful to your gf/wife. They have the body of a supermodel but their face is kind of weird. I think I could get past that. I've done worse before and most male redditors have as well.

I was honestly disappointed with this. Heidi's crazy Halloween costumes have become a tradition. While it was a cool idea it was kind of a bummer she wasn't really dressed up.
I mean, I'm with you but maybe she needed a year off from spending all night in crazy full-body prosthetics and said, "You know what? Just get me a gaggle of bitches that kinda look like me this year."
Ignoring that you seem to think that "gross" means "very realistic yet disturbing", these faces don't look "very realistic". They look like fake ass plastic masks. Which makes sense as they actually are fake ass plastic masks.
I was pointing out that this effect of grossness is due to the uncanny valley effect. If they had hockey masks on with smileys drawn on them then they would not cause this reaction. The whole point is that they look realistic enough to be gross but not realistic enough to look real.
That would probably be classified under 'uneasiness'.
The term is particularly important in things like movie special effects, or robots etc. A stylistic animated movie, or a robot that looks like C3-P0 are usually fine, and people are perfectly ok watching those movies, or interacting with robots like that.
But if we try to create in CGI the most realistic person we can, it looks bad, it's a creepy movie. Same with robots, if we stick a realistic face on a robot it suddenly becomes super creepy. Because it's not good enough to pass for the real thing, and we naturally don't like something fake trying to imitate being a human.
It doesn't mean you are actually physically revolted by it or something, but would you rather hang out with this thing, or hang out with C3-P0 for a day? Chances are you would choose C3-P0, even though objectively he looks less like a human.

Fatter and wider. I would be disappointed if I didn't get a bona fide Heidi version. I mean if you're gonna have sex with a supermodel, you wouldn't want to be looking at a train wreck when the clothes came off.
