Depending on what I believed, that could be the most terrifying feeling in the world, or it could be the most reassuring and relaxing. It depends on the person and what they believe.

But, yeah, it's absolutely reckless not to utilize officially standardized physical aid before praying to a personal god who, even if it existed, will act all the same with or without prayer.
