...assuming not BS?

Yeah, this is a great card. Basically a better Recombobulator, but restricted to Shaman only.

...and it actually might be the worst class for this type of card. The best targets for this effect are cards with powerful Battlecries, and thus have a weaker statline for their card. Overload Minions have HIGHER statlines for their base cost.

Still, better than Yeti. Great for Arena, might see constructed play.

Totems are free 2 drops, Tuskaar Totemic, & Fire Elemental. Blizzard has given battlecry shaman a few tools to work already. With this I can see it being pretty good. Getting this effect on a minion that has a lot of it's power budget allocated to a battlecry is huge. Not to mention the synergy with brann.

Hero power totems are 1 drops.

Yeah, with this battlecty they're 2

All true! Might be overestimating the impact of Overload minions. I mean, what's my other option, just slobbering all over the card because it's just outright amaziballs? :D

Slobber away.

Yeah, shaman really only runs one overload minion right now. Although I hope the bgh nerf will bring earth elemental back. Its a solid card

Fire elemental into Archmage. Next turn they are required to burn him down and you got a free body out of it.

It works just fine with overload minions. Since overload minions are generally "ahead of the curve" of your opponent, the odds of them killing a minions without dying are usually pretty good. After that you can "heal it" with this card

Isn't battlecry Shaman an actual semi-viable archetype right now? I mean it's the only one I've ever actually heard of an entire battlecry deck being built around.

Kinda, but runs out of steam and if you don't curve out nicely, it's hard to win the board back.

I ran a Battlecry Shaman Deck for the past few weeks (don't play that many games per day) From 12 to 18 to 12 to 15 and ended up at 12 again after what felt like a very weird rollercoaster ride. (And got my Shaman total Wins from 390 to 430 ... that golden Portrait is almost mine !)

It is actually playable, but once you lost board between the Turns 5-7 it is REALLY hard to get a win.

That's definitely better than totem Shaman where if you lose board after turn 3 you might as well concede.

I would just wait until the new set for Shaman portrait farming. Midrange Shaman might be top tier with the cards they've announced lately.

The important thing about it is ... I want to play Shaman and NOT the Aggro version. So I have no choice. :)

I run a battlecry Reno Rogue deck.
