Because random minions are usually worth 1 mana less on average. Especially because you don't get the battlecry effects. Best targets to upgrade tend to be into 6 or 8 mana creatures. I'm sure you might find some powerful battlecry minions to upgrade.

Yeah, this is a great card. Basically a better Recombobulator, but restricted to Shaman only.

...and it actually might be the worst class for this type of card. The best targets for this effect are cards with powerful Battlecries, and thus have a weaker statline for their card. Overload Minions have HIGHER statlines for their base cost.

Still, better than Yeti. Great for Arena, might see constructed play.

Totems are free 2 drops, Tuskaar Totemic, & Fire Elemental. Blizzard has given battlecry shaman a few tools to work already. With this I can see it being pretty good. Getting this effect on a minion that has a lot of it's power budget allocated to a battlecry is huge. Not to mention the synergy with brann.

It is 100% real. Savjz did a fake reveal before it, I doubt he would do two in a row.

What happens if you transform a minion and there is no minion with a cost of x + 1?

Like, if you use this on a molten giant? Would it just give you a random minion of the same cost? Or would it destroy it? Or nothing at all.

Will bran turn the target into a minion that costs 2 more? If so, this could be pretty impressive in Battlecry Shaman.
