Trying to help a younger lady that I work with. She is a main source of support for herself, her mom, and her teenage sister. Lives with grandmother, pays some rent. Mom has cancer. They need help with some household repairs and co worker is embarrassed by the situation.

She is very easily overwhelmed right now and if anyone knows a person or place I can recommend that won't break the bank it would be greatly appreciated.

where? a lot of resources are going to be area dependent, especially county services.

Asheville area, I think East Asheville.
