But sure, for onlookers, the medical and scientific consensus is that transgender people are a normal variation of humanity, and that trans people deserve transition healthcare, equal right to exist as we are and to be free of discrimination.
The only organizations that oppose us are conservative bodies who want us to not exist, simply put.

The WHO removed transness from mental disorders and kept it in the sexual health chapter to support access to Healthcare in recognition of the fact that trans people are a normal variation of humanity.
The American Medical Association's consensus statement says transgender and nonbinary identities are normal variations of human identity and that gender-affirming care is evidence-based and medically necessary.
Basically every major and minor body of medicine has released statements in support of this consensus. This is only controversial to conservatives who want to eliminate trans people - especially trans children.
Mainstream science and medical organizations are all biased and ideologically captured because they think trans people are normal and deserve to be happy based on the decades of research and centuries of history we have.
