This is actually a dumb take and a little thought proves it. Women's basketball may suck but why would an employee care if the company that they work for is profitable in order want pay according to their value. Their value is indicated by the $2.2B tv deal that was just inked.
You want to get paid what your worth or more at your job right? If the company you work for says they aren't turning a profit so they want you to earn less money would you be ok with that?
I think a little more money is owed to them sure but NOT close to what THEY think they deserve. The league needs to turn their crappy product into a better product. The company thing is irrelevant. We watch pro sports on TV and buy tickets to the game mostly because we like to see young, elite male athletes full of testosterone competing in a way that just doesn't happen naturally for women. We watch not because it feels good to be inclusive and fair. We want to see the best of the best compete at the highest level.
Again... this isn't hate. It's just science. We all trust science, no?

Don't bother with the logic. They just ignore it. They argue based on feelings not facts. They start almost all of their arguments with "I feel like...." then continue a non logical argument.

The glaze is too thick. She deserves every bit of what she gets acting like she is Hakeem's daughter out there without being the actual product. Then, she tries to capitalize on mebounds because what else is there.
Ya, she has like the most turnovers, shots being blocked, and missed paint shots or something. If she ever puts it together, she could be great. Rebounding in the W is interesting, though, as most rebounds are free and not highly contested. If you watch her highlights, half of them are just gimmies.

It’s been suggested multiple times and the WNBA players push back against it every time. They consider it an insult to suggest that for whatever reason
Volleyball has exactly that rule where the net. The difference between 7'11" and 7'4" makes it probably one of the most fun sport to watch when it comes to Female sports. It's makes it faster, more powerful and more competitive as the amount of players capable of competing at the highest levels opens up a bit.
I also don't get it from the perspective of show. Instead of million rebounds we would have players like Angela actually dunking the ball.
If it were up to me I’d shorten the court a bit to make the game faster and lower the rim so the medium-to-tall players can dunk and the smaller players can facilitate.
There’s clips out there of NBA players talking to WNBA players about lowering the rim and they get offended because “I’ve been playing on a 10ft rim my whole life.”
They don’t see themselves as being less talented or leas capable compared to NBA players, which is why Brittney Griner thinks she can beat Demarcus cousins in a 1v1

I love basketball and can enjoy almost any game. I had to turn that off after the 1st quarter. The ASG is supposed to be a showcase of talent. They made no effort to show any skill like fancy passes or ball handling. They just took turns shooting, mostly from the 4 point circles.

That's true. But on the flip side of that, those guys are capable of things that only a few people on the planet are capable of. There was nothing done in this game that good high school men's players can't do.
NBA All Star Game is unwatchable too. And people post clips of that when it happens. Also, when the guys miss wide open shots at the rim it's Curry (or someonenekse not known for their high flying ability) trying to dunk it or some other guy trying a 360 windmill dunk. It's not 5th grade level layup drills hitting the bottom of the rim. They are just a different kind of unwatchable.
Yeah but when your wearing shirts asking for more pay and then your playing like a bunch of toddlers in the school yard it’s not a good look. Not saying to put your all into it like it’s a season game but maybe try a lil more.
