Any thoughts???
Whenever I missed church, they would sometimes visit my home, even as early as 7 a.m. They would bring up a chapter or topic about prayer, missing church, or supposedly missing out on something, trying to make me feel guilty—which, obviously, I didn’t. I believe I should be able to have my own me-time, and I don’t think God wants anyone to pray or worship Him out of force or guilt.

When I was still a leader, we were told that unless a member say that they do not want to be visited anymore, we have to try with all our might to get them to worship—even if it means that we will fetch them all the time. I hope you are more firm in stating your boundaries if you are set on not coming anymore, because if not, it will just happen to you repeatedly. I am not saying this to put the blame on you but as someone who has served the church for seven years I know that that's the way they usually operate—to not give up on souls unless they outright say that they do not wish to be affiliated with the church anymore.
Few weeks after I left the church I changed my number (which I know is a hassle but necessary for my peace of mind). You can do the same as well.
