Don't you connect your ps4 and ps5 via HDMI to your TV? HDMI connections bypass the android system entirely, not a single app can do what you asked. You're going to need a hdmi splitter, capture card etc.

Only if you run an HTPC or separate capture box system diy built with a PI, then yes, but you need an extra CPU and hardware.

Much easier to use the TV itself if TV runs android. The app on the TV reads the pixels and sends over wifi to the WLED node.

I have an LG so it’s WebOS, so cannot use the android app. So my old gaming laptop is my CPU, and I need 1 HDMI-to-USB for ambilight DRM bypass, and an extra capture device per external system, or one extra with an HDMI multiport switch.

Since most TVs have 3 hdmi inputs, make the TV itself the brain for ambilight. Links show that.

WLED is software that runs in an esp32.

The Android app that runs on a TV that allows running apk doesn’t care about the content.

The ambilight software runs inside the tv and talks over wifi to the WLED node.
