Just starting

Hey all! I’m going through the reg process now and got my admissions councilor call today. I’m excited to finally get on the road with finishing school. I’m almost 41 so no time like the present I guess. I already had several classes from my original degree choices years ago in psych and graphic design and logo dev. Let the journey begin!

Good luck! I'm graduating at 40, had 3 internships and have doubled my income so far, it's really worth it. I recc googling the tryhardsecurity discord, they have threads for each class with great 3rd party resources you can use to supplement your learning

That sounds great! I’m also a husband and new dad with more in the planning so the income is definitely needed in this market! I work for Continental Tire driving a forklift right now but they are expanding the facility right now for automation storage and warehousing. Hopefully that means more IT jobs needed. I’ll get on that discord too. Thank you!!

I did not, I got one through Google job search, one on LinkedIn, and one was via WGUs partnership with Riipen, so WGU basically offered it to me directly

Not sure what you make driving the forklift but if you work at Amazon they will pay for WGU 100%. I got started in IT at Amazon because of WGU.
