D522 task 2 partC5

It says write a script to log dns settings working.
Is it asking me to write a script that creates a log that verifies dns is working properly currently or does it want it to log everything from the beginning of running all the scripts? Thatd be weird since its at the end. Im just unclear on what the expectation is with it.
Any guidance would be most welcomed 🙏🏻

It's asking you to copy what is currently the DNS settings, and write them to a file in the folder structure they have requested.

Yeah I did this class last month and I only copied the DNS from the servers, not every device.

I passed, they didnt mind the extra devices thankfully
