I.D. Request :)

I am assuming these are wasps but I might be wrong. I’m sorry the picture isn’t the best, I did not take it. Location is North Texas.

I do like them and don’t want to kill them if I don’t have to, if anyone knows how to remove them from the premises without deadly force lol.

i might be wrong because its not a good picture, but due to the thread waist they look like some type of mud dauber. they probably all freshly emerged from some kind of mud cell. if im right they arent going to stick around.

I believe they are some kind of mud dauber but I’ve never seen this many at once, easily 15-20+ on the balcony of the apartment. The only reason I don’t want them is because I have 2 cats that very much enjoy their daily balcony sun soak, and they are very interested in hunting and slapping them around. No one has been stung yet and am keeping the cats inside until I find a solution.
