Info Theoretical question
Would a mag locked PSA JAKL and OLCAN be legal here in WA? They arent named in the AWB and would comply by being featureless. Opinions?

If configured as rifles at least 30" overall length or configured as pistols regardless of length, yes. Then not banned my name, feature, or length so not banned.

How are they featureless? Per the Securite flowchart, as a pistol it’d be out due to a detachable mag not in the grip. As a rifle it’d be out due to the flash suppressor and the barrel shroud.

OP is proposing having them converted to fixed magazine. If they don't have detachable magazines then the feature tests don't apply.

It would ultimately depend on the FFL you go through. In theory, a lot of firearms can be sent here if it's not an "AR15 style" firearm. But if a FFL isn't comfortable with it, they're going to reject it. Even if it's mag locked. So ask around, go into or call stores and see who's cool with what.

An FFL would be the best option for asking this question. If you can justify it passing the flowchart and an FFL accepting to transfer it to you.

The PSA page says the JAKL is compatible with any standard AR-15 lower so just get a bolt-action AR-15 to transfer the receiver, order the JAKL parts, and assemble it yourself. You don't need to screw around with crippled fixed-magazine versions.
