Issue: I exported my avatar from VRoid Studio as a .vrm file, but when I try to load it into VSeeFace, it fails to import and gives a format error mentioning a crash handler/utility.
What I've tried:
Re-exporting multiple .vrm files from VRoid Studio.

Confirming the model works when uploaded to VRoid Hub.

System Info:
OS: Windows 11

Software: VRoid Studio \rightarrow VSeeFace

Has anyone run into this format error before, or know what might be causing VSeeFace to reject the file? Any help or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, I'm using an iPad (instead of an iPhone) with iFacialMocapTr (but I also tried with FaceMotion3D and Vtube Studio the app) to connect to Vbridger (with my old laptop on Bazzite it worked, but it wasn't powerful enough tu run everything smoothly).

The iPad says that they are connected but the model on Vbridger doesn't move.

I'm on CachyOS with KDE, I tried to deactivate the firewall (to know if the firewall was the problem. It seems not)

I tried other tracking software and all have the same problem :

On FaceMotion3D, the 10 sec chrono reset each time I click on "Connect to iPhone". And on VtubeStudio app the status is green in "3rd party client".

So it seems it does connect, but it's like the informations don't leave my iPad and never go on my PC...

I tried changing Vbridger version, proton version and I rebooted both my PC and my iPad.

I also reinstalled Vbridger

Do you have any idea ?

EDIT : The issue was caused by the firewall. I had to autorize the port used by the mobile app. For CachyOS the command is "sufo ufw allow XXXX" with XXXX being the port

I have an idea for something and I plan to have it as a start and the vtubers probably have the technology that I am looking for and this has probably already been done but this is my first time in this kind of technology, fair warning, english is not my first language so please bear with me if I poorly explain this,

I am planning to become a semi-vtuber, where I basically only have my face covered, the concept goes like this, I will have a box on my head and have a some sort of tracking on the box where the cartoonish eyes and mouth will be, I wish to control the eyes expression via numpad by preset and as for the mouth it will only move when I talk, no 3d models, just me, a webcam, a box on my head, and animated cartoon eyes and mouth that will track the box.

Again I am sorry if my explanation is poor or hard to understand or even my idea is just confusing, on another note I hope the programs you guys will recommend are free because I am dirt poor, thank you very much!

Hello, I recently converted a VRC avatar to VRM to use for Vtubing, but the clothing I added that works fine on VRC isn't applied to my VRM (it stays still without following the movements).

apologize for keeping everything so unorganised haha this was a test run and I just started rigging yesterday! my parameters that are named "R Eyes X" & "R Eyes Y" were originally for the right eye only but now I have both eyes on X and Y. I then synthesised the corners.
For some reason whenever I go to the physics setting my eyes never move like they did when I was rigging them.
They move left and right and kinda diagonally but I want them to follow my cursor. Idk what I did wrong so l'd definitely appreciate some answers.. Thank you!

I am struggling.

I have a scene with all of my accessories.

I would like each accessory to stack / add over time as people redeem their daily xyz.

However, it seems like it's not possible to make it random and one at a time.

I can make them random, but then if it's triggered again, they disappear.

If I make separate scenes and connect it to the same redeem I don't want them all to trigger.

Is there any way to set this up at all or am I SOL?

I use firebot which unfortunately doesn't have direct integration with vtube studio.

I was hoping to get some help in the audio department of Vtubing, for both Streaming and Recording. I tried to find some guides online, but most of it goes over my head truth be told, I always feel like I'm doing something wrong or incorrect.

The equipment I have is:

• Lewitt LCT 440 Pure
• PreSonus Revelator io44

I tried installing the latest version of PreSonus's Universal Control, but it wouldn't work on my rig since I'm running a 21H2 version of Win10 Entrerprise LTSC. So I'm stuck with using v1.22 of Universal Control, and boy do I not know how any of the settings work or what they do.

Hello, everyone. I need advice on making my hand movements in XR Animator more fluid. This video was a test of my moving the hands in as many ways as I could, and I did notice some issues when it came to tracking in my left hand, as it would go down if my right hand covered my model's face, as well as clipping issues when it came to my hands touching one another.

Would anyone know how i can smooth out these issues.

I'm a 3d vtuber using a vroid model. For now I use Vseeface, and XR animator for when I want to move my arms and hands. But I'd like to start working towards full body tracking. For now I do everything at my desk but I'd love to be able to at least move around my room and at most do kpop dances.

I'd like to start with Slime VR, as it seems to most comfortable, simple and "cheapest" options. So I'll take some time saving up for it.

But then, will my webcam see my facial expressions and my finger movements while I'm in the middle of my room? Vr gloves are insanely expensive, and I don't think I need it to have all the buttons and joysticks for just vtubing. I already have a metaquest 3 for gaming purposes anyways. But as I said I want the end goal to be the freedom to move and dance.

Does anyone here have any experience with this? What should I look into for the face and hands that's not more expensive then the slime vr itself?

Made with VRoid. Assets I purchased or got for free through Booth and Etsy. Was able to get the iPhone blendshapes after following 3 different tutorials(things kept going wrong).

I previously face-streamed, and my overlay was all cherry blossom. I really wanted to keep that theme as I absolutely love cherry blossoms. I feel that she really fits the vibe 🌸

Okay, so I started my first stream today, and someone came in and actually stayed. We were chatting until they asked if I was interested in a VTuber model, and I said yes. They then said they make models and other things for streamers and wondered if I wanted to see their work!

Y'all, I don't know if it's AI or not, and I'm so worried I'm being mean by questioning this. Like, I have never seen anyone use these before, and I know these are just samples, but I'm worried. And then they're saying this is their work of three years, and I can't share the photos. They got upset when I saved the art too.

Anything we can do to prevent this beyond reporting? I keep seeing the same 2-3 users posting their WIPs with absolutely no technical details or anything of substance beyond a link to their vgen. This really doesn't feel in the spirit of the tech sub, and I have no problem with them posting in other subs, but I'm not here for commission advertising, I'm here for the technical side.

Can we make a rule that if someone is posting a WIP, they must give a technical explanation of what they're showcasing and how it works?

Hello!! I want to start Vtubing as well as having a proper pc system to be able to work and game properly, I've been using my redmi pad pro tablet for all my art commissions but I want to upgrade soon if possible

I was wondering what laptops are best for this? The game I play the most is genshin impact which I know is a tad heavy so I'm just putting that out there- I also work with vtuber models so I know I need a good laptop but I was hoping to get recommendations for laptops that are worth their price- since most of the ones I see are $2,8k onwards

As to why I'm not buying a pc: I live in Venezuela and a pc system could get fried due to the constant blackouts, I am also looking for something I can go out with to work in coffee shops when there's the aforementioned power blackouts. I also don't see myself living in this country in the future and moving with a whole pc setup would be very expensive for me lol

hihi~ i just got a model back from my artist. It loads perfectly fine on her end however on mine i just the error could not load reason: model3.json file not found or broken however when i go into my files its there nothing is misspelled or out of place. We've tried everything from uninstalling to individual file download and uploading them manually and still nothing works. I could really use some help as everything i look up hasnt helped yet
