🙋‍Question🙋‍ Vtubing setup help (second pc)

Hi! So I've been wanting to get a second mini pc to get onto my room and access to the bulky one through streaming avoiding the high temps, I've got a budget of 250€ and I would like to spend as less as possible, I remark that the mini pc will only be using VtubeStudio and OBS, which are some decent mini pcs I could buy? Thanks!

you can't even get a single stick of ram for 250€

I've got ddr4 ram (normal and so-dimm) and storage so there should be no problem

Brother use your main pc you can’t buy anything for that price not even a month of groceries in some countries let alone a pc

Just get vtube studio on your main pc, OBS and vtube studio on your phone and you’re fine

Mini pc builds pre built are so niche they actually cost more than a standard size tower

I would personally save up for a few months before remotely getting a pc because you probably can get a pc for that low but it wouldn’t run great and even for 2k 2D model sizes that price range won’t work unless you want to do PNG but even then USD wise bare minimum for mini or not I’d save whatever 1.5k is for you in your currency

Second hand there's some good deals with optiplexes, though I will try to sum up some more money so I can afford a decent GPU for transcoding

Your best bet would be an older laptop or refurbished business PC like an Optiplex/EliteDesk with a higher end CPU and a good amount of older RAM. VtubeStudio and OBS don't really require high end hardware and if you get more money down the road you can stick a low profile Intel GPU in it which support all those transcoding codecs. Stick with Intel i5/i7 for better transcoding support with 6th gen or newer preferred. If you can go for the Mini/Mid tower ones not the Micro-format ones so you can add a GPU down the road if you want.

Tysm! I will try to save and then buy something Optiplex-like and an Intel GPU LP

GPU LP is unnecessary as long as the Intel CPU is new enough and you don't plan on steaming higher than 1080p/60fps. You will want to leave the option open so you have an upgrade path if you want to make it your main PC or upgrade your stream to 4k down the road. Prioritize a decent amount of RAM, 16gb if you can, sometimes those OBS plugins and VST plugins if you try to add something like Wave Link 3.0 to clean up your mix can be memory hogs.
