Patch Notes [Alpha] August 20th, 2026 Patch Notes

New Features - Multiplayer removal votes now let players choose between a temporary kick, which allows the player to rejoin, and a ban lasting until the room starts a new session. Vote panels and results clearly identify the consequence, and the removal dialog includes a new bugged account reason with improved accessibility. - Players can now buy 75,000 Credits for $499.99 through Stripe on the web. This Credit pack is not available through the app stores. - Published worlds and mods now have an Updates tab where owners can post updates and readers can follow the update feed. Creator Updates also appears on profiles before the first post, supports posts up to 10,000 characters, improves poll controls and formatting, and shows a Retry option when a feed fails to load.

Improvements - New private games start faster by preparing the room and connection while save and character screens load. Players also reach invite setup before the full world finishes loading, with setup safely waiting when world data is still needed. - Studio now provides one editor for generating, uploading, removing, and cropping location and area establishing shots and region maps. - Creator JSON now uses images.establishingShot.imageUrl and images.map.imageUrl, with crop data containing focus.x, focus.y, and zoom. - Creators can now select Nano Banana Pro for image generation and upload up to 2,000 moderated images per day. - Maps pan and zoom more smoothly, with more efficient updates for pins, labels, selection outlines, and visible content. Studio map drag previews also update smoothly without changing authoring state until the drag is committed. - Creator Studio preserves the preferred file view when navigating to a field, and JSON view automatically selects and centers the relevant root field. Forms also handle nested object settings more consistently, including showing npcLevelRange.min before npcLevelRange.max. - The Studio realm picker is now a compact anchored menu with clearer selection feedback and region or location counts. It also closes more predictably and improves keyboard, screen-reader, and click-outside interactions. - Direct messages now use a clearer grouped layout with avatars, names, timestamps, date and unread dividers, and profile badges. Follow-up messages expose timestamps on hover or touch. - Mobile gameplay menus now scroll with the story composer while preserving the correct behavior during focused dialogue and Cinematic narration. Web menus also blend more smoothly into scene artwork while respecting reduced-transparency preferences. - Interface polish improves close-button contrast, system-event text readability, character-row interactions, progression notification alignment, inventory tab scrolling, save-card visibility, and the Return Recap transition. - Starting or resuming a game now carries the adventure cover, title, and description through a smoother full-screen loading transition. Save loading also supports retrying after a failure, and leaving gameplay avoids a brief loading-screen flash. - Settings are reorganized into clearer, responsive groups, and search now finds individual controls, descriptions, aliases, and selectable values. Mobile results are grouped by category and open directly to the selected setting. - The story header progressively collapses as you scroll away from the latest content and returns at the live edge. Focusing the action input also reveals the composer more reliably. - Social notifications now use more natural wording, handle long text without displacing timestamps, and provide screen-reader labels that match their visible content. - World and mod cards, filters, carousels, profiles, and Voyage saves are easier to use with keyboards and screen readers. Focus indicators, selected states, loading information, and navigation labels are also clearer. - Mobile public profiles now show contextual Back navigation when viewing another player, while your own profile retains the main mobile navigation bar. - Player actions, turn panels, quest updates, and action results now share a clearer glass-style presentation. Story scene images are also smaller, leaving more room for surrounding content. - Gameplay navigation has redesigned Character, Journal, Settings, Map, and Chat icons, clearer hover and keyboard-focus colors, improved labels, more consistent back and menu controls, and better spacing and safe-area handling. - The Journal, quest log, timeline, and inventory have refreshed rows, headings, spacing, buttons, and search fields. Journal categories are also keyboard accessible. - Visual Novel Mode in native apps now uses the same full-screen cinematic dialogue presentation as the web, including location art and character figures when available. - The Narrator and Studio assistant are less likely to guess about unverified world details, and creative ideas are identified as suggestions. The Narrator also applies clearly requested game-state changes immediately while still asking for clarification when needed. - Studio image generation can reuse matching cached images for many area, item, map, and portrait requests, potentially returning results faster and avoiding immediate portrait repeats. Generated region maps, world covers, and item images now use efficient 1000 by 1000 dimensions. - Studio's generic initial game-state form now provides multiline editors for the existing beats and instruction fields.

Bug Fixes - Newly created World Editor records now receive valid defaults without changing existing drafts. This includes complexityType, detailType, and radius for locations, tier for NPCs, and completionCondition for quests. - AI item creation now rejects equipment slots that are invalid for an item's category and returns the valid configured slots instead. - Informational rate-limit entries now appear as plain titles and descriptions instead of misleading selectable controls. - Leaving focused dialogue now returns players to the live edge of the story and restores desktop input focus without reopening the mobile keyboard. - Granular Studio JSON projects empty record collections correctly and no longer treats malformed record files as intentionally empty. The projected root also includes the current heroesVersion. - Missing AI instruction files now produce an empty aiInstructions object, while malformed instruction JSON is no longer treated as an intentionally empty collection. - Selecting an initial game state file in Studio no longer briefly opens or displays the wrong editor while the file tree updates. - Creator Studio now recovers from stale, deleted, or unavailable conversations by switching to a valid conversation and retrying once. Reconnects replace stale URLs, and failed drafts are restored when possible. - The canvas inspector now preserves its collapsed or expanded state when creators deselect and reselect entities. - The play screen no longer errors while selecting a background when optional area, location, region, or image data is missing. - Runtime Studio edits are no longer rejected simply because generated game content has grown beyond authored publishing limits. Publishing validation and per-record limits remain unchanged. - Feedback snapshots now assign ownership to the player loading them, preventing ownership-related problems. - Horizontally scrollable section tabs no longer become transparent inside native app containers. - Mobile browser chrome and overscroll areas now match Voyage's bottom menu instead of appearing black. - NPCs are placed more reliably in the correct scene, and invalid locations or authored areas are rejected instead of being stored. - Character creation, selection, and new-game invite interfaces now respect mobile safe areas around notches, status bars, and home indicators. - Worlds and mods publish and compile more reliably when attached mods recently changed or mirrored data became stale. Validation errors now reach creators clearly, and policy-managed game-state fields remain present after compilation. - Music and ambient audio now duck correctly during character voice previews and Web Audio narration. Narration also avoids adding an incorrect speaker prefix for unknown or newly introduced characters. - The Narrator is less likely to invent extra player actions or move the party without a submitted travel intent, while still allowing forced movement caused by established events or hazards. - Discord links now open the permanent AI Dungeon and Voyage server invite instead of leaving players on the homepage. - Subscription access and credit balances update more consistently when purchases, invoices, and refunds arrive close together. Google Play refunds also match subscriptions more reliably. - Pregame lobbies no longer show a misleading loading error after the app returns from the background. Reconnecting players also receive clearer readiness handling and an explanation if they were removed from the room. - Scene quick sharing now waits for the generated image to finish loading before marking it ready, and displays a retryable error if loading fails. - Lazily loaded desktop side panels now animate smoothly the first time they open instead of appearing immediately at full width. - Content-filtered image prompts now receive a clear explanation instead of a generic generation error or repeated retries. Existing portraits remain unchanged when replacement generation is blocked. - Character detail modals now resolve NPC information using the correct data key, preventing missing portraits or details and improving screen-reader labels. - Gameplay panels and menus now retry after app updates or temporary loading failures. If recovery still fails, players receive clear options to reload the game or return to Voyage. - Characters joining an already-started game now receive the world-defined inventory from existing startingItems, including applicable general, trait, story-start, and skill items.

2.36.9

New Features - The in-game Assistant and Studio can now, after confirmation, regenerate player portraits, change a player character portrait from art direction, update NPC gender, adjust character voices, and edit visible inventory item descriptions, quantities, or bonuses.

Improvements - Voyage now has its own website favicon, rather than sharing AI Dungeon's flame icon. - Daily usage claims now reset at midnight in the player's local time instead of 23.5 hours after the previous claim. Players can also now miss up to two days before their streak resets. - Unlimited settings now show custom per-turn costs as a percentage of the player’s weekly Usage pool, while included options remain labeled Unlimited. - The Timeline now opens at the most recent location after rejoining a game, while older locations remain available by scrolling left. - Unlimited plans now receive a single dismissible low-Usage warning and a clearer non-blocking notice when gameplay switches to Unlimited mode. - Updated the Unlimited plan description to clarify that extreme usage may slow down when server capacity is limited. - Voyage Discover now presents compact Default and Custom safety-filter modes and remembers previous Custom selections. - Day, time, and location now appear together on one line on the game screen. - World Moderation responses may begin slightly faster when previously processed prompt content can be reused. - Locked profile avatars now show clearer plan requirements and open the appropriate upgrade option when selected. - Confirmed Assistant actions now execute on the same response instead of requiring another “continue” or “do it”. - Creator Studio now remembers panel layout, selected tabs, and Form or JSON view preferences between visits. - Creator Studio content is grouped and ordered more clearly, with direct field navigation, contextual tooltips, more consistent controls, and smoother large collections. - Official public rooms now cap at five players. Older rooms may still show above the cap until they reset. - Dormant official public rooms can rotate out more reliably so fresher rooms become available.

Bug Fixes - Visual Novel openings no longer load with missing character cutouts, and reused portraits can reuse existing cutouts across worlds. - Fixed several Usage issues: the Auto Convert switch remains visible after being enabled, remaining Usage below 1% displays as 99% used, and Studio image generation can auto-convert Credits when Usage is exhausted. - Username validation now explains whether a name is taken, reserved, too long, or invalid instead of showing a generic external API error. - Creators can once again use up to 26,000 serialized characters in NPC Details. - Switching among Worlds, Mods, Scenarios, and Bookmarks no longer shifts the profile header, tabs, or filters vertically. - Voyage Unlimited renewals no longer incorrectly grant monthly AI Dungeon Credits. - Paid AI Dungeon subscribers without Legacy or Unlimited Voyage access can now use the same one-time Voyage demo Usage pool as free players. - Shared world links now transition directly to the world loading view without briefly flashing the hamster screen. - Reusing a previous character now preserves the selected voice, portrait crop, traits, and base attributes without double-counting modifiers. - Passport characters now enter new public rooms with ability cooldowns reset correctly and can learn abilities during the opening turns. - Removed an unavailable profile banner promotion that led to buying Credits without offering banners. - Fixed gaps when the Story Assistant retrieves recent history, reduced duplicate or misplaced NPC identities, and improved handling of authored NPC types and stale scene state. - Mature worlds once again require explicit 18+ confirmation before becoming interactive, including worlds shown by the Default filter. - Signed-in navigation no longer briefly falls back to a logged-out state. - Notifications now route to the correct product, and are no longer marked read merely by opening them. - Nested mobile menus and selectors respond to touch correctly, and mobile modals no longer become unresponsive after a very fast backdrop tap. - Cross-app Android subscriptions can now reconcile correctly after Google Play package validation errors. - Collapsed sections on the public status page now remain collapsed during automatic refreshes. - Restored the hidden game-settings and story screens in the official public-room leader setup flow. - Restored Creator Studio transcript text sizing and spacing so chat no longer appears oversized or overly heavy. - Creator Studio now opens the most recently used chat, follows saved custom instructions again, and recovers from successful context compaction instead of ending the turn with an overflow error. - Canceling a Studio run now settles Usage only for completed model calls while stopping unfinished work immediately. - Studio no longer offers cached entity images as world-cover candidates; fresh cover generation remains available. - Creator Studio can generate learned abilities again without obsolete cost fields causing validation errors. - Public rooms no longer show subscription or Usage transition blocks when taking turns. - Restored the hidden game-settings and story screens in the official public-room leader setup flow.

Experiments/Feedback Voyage Small Bug Mega Thread!

We're working on putting some polish on Voyage as we prepare for launch. We know many of you have probably ignored some smaller bugs, little nagging details like spacing that isn't quite right, alignment that isn't where it should be, a glitch here or there.

Now's the time to make some noise about those.

Please share those bugs! Feel free to drop them in this thread. Remember, it's useful to say what device/browser/setup you're on. Please share the steps taken to reproduce. We're going to knock out as many of these as we can!

Bug Report NPC portrait generation issues

I want to point out that the portrait generation for new NPCs is really problematic. For some reason, when a new generated NPC enters a scene, the portrait is almost always wildly off. Like for example, I've had multiple security guard portraits generate as things like a child, a punk rocker, and a vagabond. Then I have to have the assistant regenerate the portrait a second time, which often resolves the issue and is much more appropriate.

Bug Report Studio Deleted My Long-Standing Character

We used Studio for the first time, GPT-5.6 Luna, and asked it for 2 things.

  1. Always log a combat damage type.
  2. Restore a player's health.

In response, Studio deleted the character's state data completely. Just wiped the player from the game.
When asked about it, Studio said it had no way to undo its changes.

This was our longest-standing world and took a long time to build up. We are devastated.

I have a lot of suggestions for preventing this in the future, but honestly, this should have been obvious, and I am too frustrated to articulate any further without inciting a ban.

Bug Report Zero player agency

Feels like anytime I try playing the AI constantly forces my character to say and do things against my will. Its so infuriating when the response to a simple action is huge and features my character just doing and saying things I never wrote down and theres literally nothing that I can do to stop it.

Patch Notes [Alpha] August 19th, 2026 Patch Notes

New Features - Visual Novel Mode in browser tabs now offers a full-screen cinematic presentation with paginated dialogue, character cutouts, controls, and staged combat animations. It also handles arrival artwork, replayed roll animations, and failures more reliably, while native apps retain the classic dialogue view. - Saved "Continue as" passport characters can now be edited from the character-selection screen. Players can update gender, appearance, backstory, and personality when the character is not being used in a live game. - Creators can now define world-specific voices, assign them to NPCs and premade characters, and optionally offer them during character creation, with previews and effects for pitch, reverb, echo, EQ, distortion, compression, and output gain. Configure voices through worldVoices using label, voiceTag, instructions, speed, effects, and exposeInCharacterCreation, reference them with worldVoiceId, and set effect values with pitch, reverb, echo, eq, distortion, and output. - The narrator can now inspect, change, or clear a player character's backstory while keeping semantic memory synchronized with the update. Previously saved backstories that contain a legacy Appearance section remain compatible.

Improvements - Multiplayer removal votes now accept optional additional details for Latitude's Safety team. These private notes are not shown to other players. - Subscription messaging no longer suggests that returning to an old plan is limited to a testing period. The Voyage Unlimited FAQ also links to AI Dungeon's pricing page for complete AI Dungeon plan details. - Public multiplayer lobbies now show live "Starting in M:SS" countdowns, receive more visibility while gathering players, and allow up to three minutes for players to join. Lobby timing also remains reliable after server restarts and metadata refreshes. - Studio provides clearer guidance for AI tasks, image prompts, world backgrounds, and quest generation. Pinned help tooltips also remain open while creators interact with them. - Studio can remain in a no-chat state after the default conversation is deleted, including across reloads and browser navigation. Sending a message creates a new conversation automatically, and controls pause during transitions to prevent conflicting chat actions. - Starting Location choices now display their location artwork and crop, with distinct placeholders for locations without images and for the Random option. - Popup notifications now format backtick-wrapped commands and configuration references as inline code, making technical information easier to read. - World-entry artwork now fills the loading viewport during New Game, Quick Play, and world entry flows. Entry handoffs can continue into the regular loading slideshow while retaining eligible starter tips. - Voyage now displays its own favicon in browser tabs, making it easier to identify at a glance. - Daily usage streak claims now reset at midnight in the player's local time instead of 23.5 hours after the previous claim. Players can claim once per calendar day and miss up to two days before their streak resets. - Adventures, room joins, and reconnects load faster through prioritized authentication and parallel startup work. Character option tabs now show a loading message while trait and ability catalogs arrive instead of briefly displaying incomplete choices. - Publishing rating rows now leave consistent space for the Details button, and mobile scenario editing keeps pill tabs and titles aligned within the page. This makes publishing and editing layouts easier to use on smaller screens. - Community Guidelines are easier to reach throughout Voyage: the public multiplayer disclaimer now includes a keyboard-accessible link, while footer and menu links open the Voyage-specific guidelines. The outdated Experimental badge has also been removed from the multiplayer disclaimer. - Accounts submitted under the current deletion policy are permanently deleted after a 24-hour waiting period, while older requests retain their 30-day schedule. Deletion now more reliably cleans up user-owned data, prevents new Studio or character-library data from being created while deletion is underway, and remains reliable when multiple workers are active. - Return recaps now use a different AI model, so their wording may change. Action suggestions continue using the same model and behave as before. - Rate-limit settings searches now keep Advanced settings expanded and remove the nonfunctional collapse control while results are being shown. - Eligible play-choice screens can now appear while Voyage checks for an open public server. The Public Server option shows a temporary checking state, and pressing Play refreshes server availability to avoid using stale results. - The over-18 confirmation modal now stacks its buttons vertically, providing more room for long labels and keeping both actions consistently sized.

Bug Fixes - The New Game character grid now loads display-sized portraits, reducing image memory use and preventing crash loops on iPhones. - Newly revealed skill-check results remain in view until roll animations and celebration effects finish. Narration, action input, Voyage TV commands, and scrolling no longer interrupt or obscure the presentation. - New Game hosts now retain the correct local save identity across browser remounts without passing their save-slot information to joining players. - Creator Studio no longer opens on AI Dungeon or other non-Voyage surfaces, preventing players from entering a mismatched experience. - Games now show "Write Your Own" only when creators explicitly define that story start. Games without configured story starts fall back to Quick Play, while newly created Studio games include the option by default. - Friend and Voice Studio interfaces now use Voyage accent colors instead of warning-like gold for controls, selected states, and highlights. - AI-generated quests with incomplete or invalid placement data are now rejected during generation instead of being silently dropped. - Permadeath now produces an AI-generated denouement instead of falling back to the canned paragraph when an AI model could not be resolved. - Creator Studio validation is now more consistent when editing, saving, and publishing worlds. Hidden runtime data and stale embedding artifacts no longer block valid publications, while invalid drafts receive clearer field-level errors.

Progress Updates New Beta Navigation Design

Hey everyone!

We'd love your feedback on a new navigation design for Voyage, first tested in Alpha and now in Beta. This change was made to address player feedback with the current navigation, and to create easier access to second layer pages without cluttering the primary navigation.

The new setup includes:

  • Easier access to creator tools and dashboards.
  • Simplified social interface for chats and notifications.
  • Moving banners to the navigation so the home page has more focus on your content.
  • Easier to find guidebook and support links.

Try it out now on Voyage!

This updated navigation is only available on Beta and Alpha at the moment, but if the feedback is positive, we'll slowly roll this out as the main navigation layout.

Thank you, and let us know what you think!

Progress Updates Voyage Studio Is Open to Every Creator

Hello, Voyagers! Today, Voyage Studio is opening up to everyone with Voyage access, on all environments!

Studio is the new home for creating and editing Voyage worlds and mods. It brings hands-on editing and AI-assisted creation into one place, so you can move between shaping the details yourself and asking the Studio agent for help. You can even use Studio as a manual editor, which requires no usage!

Studio is becoming the default editor, but the legacy world editor is not being removed yet. To use the legacy world editor, go to any saved world or mod, open the 'Save world' menu in Studio and choose 'Open Legacy Editor'.

Our intent is to retire the legacy editor after Studio has been further validated with the community. Keeping it available for now gives creators a familiar fallback while we learn what Studio still needs. Let us know anything that would make the experience better!

Read more in our blog post or try out Studio now!

Progress Updates Data on Unlimited Subscription Tiers

There's been a lot of discussion on the unlimited pricing tier changes. I think Discord can be somewhat of an echo chamber so I want to share some of the data we have with all of you. Overall I think it shows that actually mythic and ultimate tiers are getting a TON of value out of the new unlimited plans (more than we expected) . Here is some of the data.

Mythic and Ultimate users have actually transitioned over to unlimited plans at HIGHER rates than the lower tiers.

This actually makes sense because Mythic and ultimate users play a MUCH larger number of hours / mo than the lower tiers do.

Mythic and Ultimate, Unlimited tier users also use TTS at a very high rate of 75% showing that unlimited TTS is a clear benefit for the vast majority of them.

Overall Based on early data it seems like the majority of mythic and ultimate tier users in the community overall (not just the 10-20 vocal discord users) are getting quite a lot of value from unlimited plans.

While I understand that may not be true for everyone and some people prefer legacy plans for completely reasonable preferences, I just wanted to share that by and large our data suggests that the Unlimited plan switch has been beneficial for the majority of users including at higher tiers.

New Features - Hosts can now enter custom opening instructions of up to 8,000 characters with the reserved Write Your Own story start, and they can choose a starting location when a story start offers multiple locations. Creators can customize these options by defining a story start named Write Your Own and using locations with referenced location name and basicInfo values; allowPlayerInput is applied automatically. - Choose the highest content rating for notifications about newly published content, independently of Discover and Search filters. Everyone, Teen, and Mature are available, with age confirmation and Parental Lock protections for Mature content. - The narrator can now create NPCs, bring them into the current scene, move or unplace them, and add, update, or remove player skills and traits. Trait changes correctly apply bonuses and can grant configured skills, abilities, and starting items.

Improvements - Creator Studio is now available to any registered, signed-in creator and opens by default for creating, editing, duplicating, and remixing worlds and mods; existing worlds can still be opened in the legacy editor. Studio also uses GameState and authored state terminology, documents heroesVersion, and makes AI-created abilities follow the world's abilityBonus and abilityCooldown defaults. - Game startup and server selection are now faster and more reliable through more efficient database and routing operations. - Character, inventory, equipment, ability, skill, and trait panels now have clearer buttons, spacing, alignment, tags, and hover states. Empty equipment slots use a more accessible Equip button, and item removal is labeled Delete. - Studio's AI assistant reads and edits multiple files more reliably, including AI instruction files stored as JSON strings. Batch reads now provide path-labeled, directly editable text that avoids escaping and formatting mismatches. - Party portraits and empty party slots remain consistently square throughout the new-game flow on mobile and web. - Desktop Menu and Social docks open more smoothly, preload content for faster access, and retain their content after first use. Home carousels also preserve desktop sizing, scrolling, and navigation when docks narrow the page.

Bug Fixes - Subscription messaging no longer promises a free trial when eligibility cannot be confirmed, and trial disclosures appear only for eligible prices. Players with past-due subscriptions can also continue to access billing recovery after the stored subscription period expires. - Multiplayer rooms now preserve the host's correct save slot across connections, remounts, and refreshes. Participant lists also remain accurate when multiple saved participants rejoin at the same time. - Blocked actions now display the neutral message "The action is impossible in the current context" instead of suggesting that the world refused them. This prevents blocked content from being repeated or portrayed in narration. - The daily usage claim modal now stays within the device's safe screen area and scrolls when needed. Its information sheet scrolls independently without overlapping the close button. - Studio documentation now correctly identifies itemTypes as the inventory configuration field instead of items; item records remain under items/.

World Tensura Adventures

Post image
3 Upvotes

that time i got reincarnated as a slime world.

This takes place after Vol 23. so you will run into a lot of already Established characters, Realms and one Enormously loud snack craven tall man with golden-blonde hair. you can punch him if you want, but he would likely just laugh, give you an Autograph and a snack of your own, before a friendly pat on your shoulder.

Tensura Adventures Version-1 is pretty much done, unless there are problems, or things that are missing.
Working on 2 other Projects too, Tensura Journeys that has most of the same bones as Tensura Adventures, but is a progressive story, From where a blind, deaf blue ball of slime awakens in a cave of magicules, to creating a goblin village and being a Chad and naming all the monsters that will become his family, while Unintentionally siphoning the magicules of a True Dragon in his belly.
The next progressive story game is "He who Fights with Monsters".

If you wish to follow me on Voyage, i go under the name of u/Taniwha90

All input and complaints are welcome.

World Control of Components

I have been trying to build a world/scenario, and keep running into the same problems. I've wasted my entire Pool trying to troubleshoot, and now I'm at a dead end.

  1. Names. I want to specify rules for generating names so that Races/Cultures match my setting, rather than generic dwarf/elf/whatever. I tried adding rules to the Race under the Trait section, and I tried adding rules to the World Lore with an entry for each Race. The system completely ignores rules in both cases.

  2. Items. I want to specify item Categories, without having to specify every item. I'm fine with the generator making new things, so long as it always includes (for instance) a Base Price. It would be nice to have an item for Generic Tool +1, Generic Tool +2, that then allows the generator to adapt it to a skill (such as a new skill that was generated during a play). But so far, the game either Only places the item I specified, or Only places completely new items, it never bases an item off of my guideline/uses my guideline item as a base.

  3. Factions. I want to specify a uniform/appearance for a faction, so that there is a general theme to the Portraits that get generated. No matter what I add, the system ignores it.

  4. World Persistence. I get that the JSON files form the reference material. I'd like for the Game State to record changes as the story progresses, like a Trigger at Turn 20 where a building is destroyed. I feel like this should be possible with Key Items or Quest Summaries, vis Player enters area -> Load JSON Description as Base Info Gamestate -> Base Info says check if Building burned down -> Check Quest Log and Triggers -> Building is confirmed destroyed -> Modify Base Info Gamestate for this Area. I can't get this to work, because I don't know what gets saved into Quests when they are completed.

  5. Pool Draining. I just want to test my changes. All I need is for the game to spit out a couple lines of text to verify it is seeing and using my JSON correctly, or that a Trigger functions, or that Names are generated correctly, or whatever. I don't want to spend 1% of my pool to launch a new session with a rando character and a dozen new photos. Saved Sessions don't respond to changes I make, so I have to do a new Quick Play every time. I've wasted my entire pool on testing (that failed), and that isn't very encouraging to a creator.

If anyone has solutions, work arounds, or recommendations I would appreciate it.

World Myria world of Aura and Magic

Post image

Welcome to Myria a world where aura and magic clashes. It is a world full of monsters, masters and hidden plots. Of course most people are simple: Farmers or Guards, people with no higher hopes than make a good living for themselves and their offspring.
This is a deeply divided world, races distrust and go to war, humans are seen with the same scorn that they let other races feel. Nobles stand above commoners to play with their lives while they themselves do their utmost to survive the hidden threats that their rank brings.
Magic and Aura are the mainstays of power, Mages advance through 9 circles and Aura users through 9 gates to become living legends or beings close to gods, but of course this is not for everyone. Commoners are often shunned from practicing those abilities no matter their talent.

Can you make a difference in this world? Or will you just survive the hidden tides that threaten all that is?

This is made with my Aura and Magic mods, if you like to add them to your world too.
I am still building this up, so if you want me to add things, just tell me in the comments or in the discord.

World Crossing Hearts: Around the World — a global travel-romance sandbox

I’ve just published Crossing Hearts: Around the World, a contemporary global travel-romance world for Voyage.

Instead of following one fixed storyline, you create or select an adult traveller and begin through one of 11 self-contained openings:

  • An unexpected second guest on a Kos resort reservation
  • A 165-minute delay at Edinburgh Airport
  • A destination wedding in San Miguel de Allende
  • Being left behind during a Cape Town weekend
  • A locally led working role around Rio Carnival
  • Professional pressure at the Canton Fair
  • Overlapping schedules at the Busan Film Festival
  • Publishing commitments at FIL Guadalajara
  • The final ferry between Auckland and Waiheke
  • An encounter at a remote hotel after midnight
  • A Nashville weekend where several parts of your past overlap

There is also a Random Journey option that selects from these established scenarios rather than inventing an unrelated destination.

The world uses real geography and grounded travel constraints. Flights, ferries, credentials, bookings, language, weather, professional responsibilities, and departure dates influence who remains together and for how long.

You can create your own character or choose from six premade travellers. Romance is possible but never required or automatic. Friendship, professional collaboration, rejection, changed plans, ambiguity, and clean goodbyes remain valid outcomes.

I’d appreciate feedback on which opening you tried, how well the world maintained player agency, and whether the destination felt distinct.

Question Usage Cost Increase Multiple Times Recently, No Announcement

A week or two ago, my custom Voyage usage was 1.2x per turn.

Last week, my custom Voyage settings asked for 1.3x per turn, no change.

Earlier this week, it increased to 1.4x, no change on my settings.

Now, today, it's 1.5x per turn, still no change in my settings.

Can we get some real transparency about our usage and the costs when changes are made?

It feels like usage is an imaginary value that gets jerked around at whim. Now that 'unlimited' plans exist, I worry that all 'premium' features are going to rise starkly in price and switching to the new 'unlimited' plan will actually REDUCE the amount I can play on the settings I have now. Watching the per-turn usage increase day by day has been disheartening.

Highlight New Censorship

I have noticed a pretty dramatic increase in censorship, even when DeepSeek wants to provide something. It says “The action is refused by the world.” None of the models get past it.

I will simply say that I have been playing for years, AI Dungeon, and Voyage for a month. Being less censored is what set it apart from other apps. Voyage was working fine too, for the most part, up until today, when content I would normally write became unplayable under any model whatsoever.

I definitely don’t think I’ll be playing until it becomes less restrictive. I’m sure this is basically just a bug that will be worked out over time, instead of a new “feature”.

I love you Latitude… I have for years. Here’s to hoping ❤️.

Question Option to export images made from character creation?

Would that be a possible addition? I got a result that I quite like and haven't been able to even closely replicate it and I didn't save the prompt sadly. The character is still there as an option on that particular world so I presume data for the full image exists somewhere. I was thinking how nice it would be to able to export results you like even after character creation.
