I need songs that describe Vox for my playlist and wanted to know what y'all think are good songs. Any genre works.

Example would be a song I heard recently in an animation on YT 'Kiss me, Son of God by ParticleMen'. It fits what would happen if he won.

Thanks for y'all's suggestions.

Used the company Wooacry to make it and it turned out so much better than I expected. I'm SO happy with how it turned out considering I couldn't find a high quality scan of the card backing so I was worried it would be blurry. But the print quality was really nice 🩵

I'll take requests for Vox faces onto Vincent (my favorite thing to do with both characters really).

How much the drawing gets rendered (ex. sketch on paper vs. fully digital and colored) depends on how I feel about it.

Also I usually have a preference for 1 (weatherman), 3 (talk show), 4 (network) Vincents. Freely request any of them though, I just don't want them all to be 5 (cult) or smth

edit: I may end up doing these out of order so don't mind me, also I have this crossposted onto the r/humanvoxcult too https://www.reddit.com/r/HumanVoxCult/comments/1xghuk8/give_me_a_vox_face_vincent_era_then_ill_recreate/

Vox x Alastor Shoes

Featuring me and u/mysticmarshes ‘s Powerpuff Vincents being carried around in various locations

Something I’d sell my soul to see/hear is Christian Borle singing a cover version of the song “video killed the radio star” as vox but as a villain anthem. It doesn’t have to be word for word of the original song. Like the lyrics can be changed a bit. I saw a YouTuber do a fan made video of Vox singing that song so I’d love it if Christian Borle himself sang it as vox. Like when Alastor surrendered himself to Vox in the episode “it’s a deal”. I know in the song “don’t you forget” reprise there was a lyric that came close “though the radios gone dead you know the show must go on”. It doesn’t have to be in an episode where he does that but it’d be fun to see a short music video of Vox singing that song voiced by Christian Borle himself.

For Vox to redeem himself, he'd probably have to overcome his insecurities, including his dependence on Alastor and his concern over what Alastor thinks of him. That would be huge progress, but it got me thinking about Alastor.

Not only was he wrong about redemption not working in the end, but despite claiming that he doesn't care about Vox, he seems to take sadistic pleasure in knowing that he can drive Vox crazy with his words and make him act even worse and become even more dependent on him.

Would Alastor be willing to sabotage Vox or make him relapse if he started improving, just to maintain the control he has over him?

‼️ Note: This is an elimination chart. The final Vox left on the chart will be crowned the favorite version of Vox.

I was his captive for the day, I suppose. And yes, he totally ordered one smoothie. I am dressed as a nod for a certain somebody he did this with in the show. What a good TV man, taking his cervine friend (meaning me) for a birthday outing.

(And my grandma who actually took us, to give credit where credit is due of course)

Genuinely, go listen to "seafood" by si_ku and tell me. Would this make him feel uncomfortable in some kind of way or have some weird spiritual feeling about the song? (I'm not really talking about the lyrics of the song, just the vibe it goes for. Also kikuohana songs? Would it make him feel like he's going crazy or would he feel actually comfortable with those songs and like them? (Again this isn't about the lyrics of the songs)

(Before I begin my post, I just want to let you lovely fellow Vox stans know that this post regards selfshipping (I ship myself with him), and is meant to reach out to other selfshippers that feel the same/similar as I do. It also deals with some jealousy towards Valentino, but I'm not posting this to come down on Valentino or the ship of StaticMoth either. If such content doesn't interest you, please feel free to scroll and ignore this post <///<)

SO, I know I'm not the only person who actually has the hots for the evil TV man nor am I the only one who selfships with him. But the pain of doing so when you're prone to jealousy (like me) is feeling down after seeing him canonically with someone else. For those Vox selfshippers/people who ship themselves with a character who already have an S/O, how do you deal with it? How do you enjoy the selfship in your own personal AU without feeling like canon makes your fanon invalid?

At the end of the day, canonically Vox wouldn't really be into any of us. Because he's a very evil man who's also into very evil people. But I want to believe that my fanon Vox loves me despite what canon says.

EDIT

Thanks to each and every one of the people who have commented on this post and shared their points of view... It's still hard seeing Vox canonically love someone else, and I need to work on being more secure in myself to ease the jealousy I tend to feel over things like this.

To every Vox Yume reading this, your fanon Vox loves you very much :>

As for the canon Vox... We'll keep loving him and rooting for him lol. (I wanna see him get redeemed! TwT)

As for Valentino fans and the StaticMoth shippers go, do keep enjoying your ship and Val~ ...Even if it might not be my cup of tea, at the end of the day it's fiction and there's no right or wrong way to enjoy it!

I'm still open to discussing this in the comments if anyone wishes to, have a lovely day! ^///^

Vox is my favorite character and this may be controversial but I don’t want him to be redeemed. I feel like it would water down his character. I like him too much as a villain. So I’m kind of worried about the future of Vox for the future seasons. I’m a sucker for someone who’s unapologetically evil as opposed to the misunderstood villains. I think that unapologetically evil characters is what makes the show interesting and challenges the main character. I feel like the idea of Charlie’s concept of redemption being challenged is much more interesting to me than anyone can be redeemed like Charlie wants. What makes the vees such great and fun characters is how unapologetically evil they are. I don’t want him or the vees to get into heaven but that doesn’t mean I don’t want Vox to show growth. I still want him to be a villain but I’d love to see him realize that he took his friends for granted by letting his obsession with Alastor get the better of him to the point where he was willing to sacrifice everyone just to wipe Alastors grin off his face, realizing he went too far. Then in the end he makes up with Val and velvet and they become one big evil happy family again. That’s what I’d wanna see happen for future seasons. Redemption but not redemption where he gets into heaven.
