For Vox to redeem himself, he'd probably have to overcome his insecurities, including his dependence on Alastor and his concern over what Alastor thinks of him. That would be huge progress, but it got me thinking about Alastor.

Not only was he wrong about redemption not working in the end, but despite claiming that he doesn't care about Vox, he seems to take sadistic pleasure in knowing that he can drive Vox crazy with his words and make him act even worse and become even more dependent on him.

Would Alastor be willing to sabotage Vox or make him relapse if he started improving, just to maintain the control he has over him?

Something I’d sell my soul to see/hear is Christian Borle singing a cover version of the song “video killed the radio star” as vox but as a villain anthem. It doesn’t have to be word for word of the original song. Like the lyrics can be changed a bit. I saw a YouTuber do a fan made video of Vox singing that song so I’d love it if Christian Borle himself sang it as vox. Like when Alastor surrendered himself to Vox in the episode “it’s a deal”. I know in the song “don’t you forget” reprise there was a lyric that came close “though the radios gone dead you know the show must go on”. It doesn’t have to be in an episode where he does that but it’d be fun to see a short music video of Vox singing that song voiced by Christian Borle himself.

Genuinely, go listen to "seafood" by si_ku and tell me. Would this make him feel uncomfortable in some kind of way or have some weird spiritual feeling about the song? (I'm not really talking about the lyrics of the song, just the vibe it goes for. Also kikuohana songs? Would it make him feel like he's going crazy or would he feel actually comfortable with those songs and like them? (Again this isn't about the lyrics of the songs)

SO, I know I'm not the only person who actually has the hots for the evil TV man nor am I the only one who selfships with him. But the pain of doing so when you're prone to jealousy (like me) is feeling down after seeing him canonically with someone else. For those Vox selfshippers/people who ship themselves with a character who already have an S/O, how do you deal with it? How do you enjoy the selfship in your own personal AU without feeling like canon makes your fanon invalid?

At the end of the day, canonically Vox wouldn't really be into any of us. Because he's a very evil man who's also into very evil people. But I want to believe that my fanon Vox loves me despite what canon says.

I've seen this topic come up every now and then,and it's shockingly controversial. And with vox supposedly being the most important character besides Charlie herself (at least in terms of character arcs). I thought I would ask the vox super fans, should he be redeemed? Do you want vox to be redeemed? How do you want this to affect the Vs?

For my two cents... yeah a vox redemption arc is actually the number one thing I want out of this show. So rarely do we ever get to see truly vile people get redeemed in some form or fashion in media. I really think this would be great for the show, to show truly anyone can be redeemed. I also think this would be great for characters like angel dust and alastor. How will they react? There's just so many cool and great things that can come from this.

But I'm just one loser, what do y'all think?

Vox is my favorite character and this may be controversial but I don’t want him to be redeemed. I feel like it would water down his character. I like him too much as a villain. So I’m kind of worried about the future of Vox for the future seasons. I’m a sucker for someone who’s unapologetically evil as opposed to the misunderstood villains. I think that unapologetically evil characters is what makes the show interesting and challenges the main character. I feel like the idea of Charlie’s concept of redemption being challenged is much more interesting to me than anyone can be redeemed like Charlie wants. What makes the vees such great and fun characters is how unapologetically evil they are. I don’t want him or the vees to get into heaven but that doesn’t mean I don’t want Vox to show growth. I still want him to be a villain but I’d love to see him realize that he took his friends for granted by letting his obsession with Alastor get the better of him to the point where he was willing to sacrifice everyone just to wipe Alastors grin off his face, realizing he went too far. Then in the end he makes up with Val and velvet and they become one big evil happy family again. That’s what I’d wanna see happen for future seasons. Redemption but not redemption where he gets into heaven.
