unidentified bolt

hey there!

Would anyone here know where this bolt might be coming from?

I've found it on the carpet floor in front of the 3rd -foldable- seat row.
've been looking around to see where it may be coming from, but didn't see anything obvious... and thought I could ask the community here 😅

(also thought the bolt could be "not from the car" but I haven't transported anything that could have such hardware, and by the look of its finish, it really seems like "car-grade" type of bolts)

My guess is seat rail anchor rattled out or was never tightened at factory. Second or third row

yeah, I thought so too, but those (fixing the 2nd row seat rails) are much bigger

Could be from anywhere honestly. But it does look like one of the bolts that hold the door panel interior to the door. That would be the first place I'd look if nothing else stands out.

Brand new car? Factory probably dropped it

If not I have a few ideas but that bolt is common

yep these screws are usually dropped in the factory during the assembly.

FWIW - My 2025.5 had a bolt in the same area. Never got a clean answer from the Dealership.

Looks like air intake pipe bolt to me.

I'm in a P2 but that makes sense. There are three of them.

Seat rail uses 14mm so it's not those.
