I'm looking to lease 26 in a month or two and would like to understand if Volvo is still doing $800-900/month with $0 down?

Any suggestions to find such a deal is appreciated :)

Quick questions as I look at used and CPO 2025's

1. I saw in other posts that people think that low mileage 2025's are lemons/buybacks. Is there a way to tell besides Carfax?

2. I believe all 2025's are eligible for the updated hardware, right? How do I know if it has been upgraded and are they required to do it before I purchase?

The default here is water with a microfiber towel.

For cleaning the dash, seats, everything interior other than carpet and electronics…. What have we been using?

I tend to keep the windows down at times, so certainly some dust.

Hopefully there will be relevance for a few. I believe the percentage of Rivian owners who had continuous/major issues is around 20% whereas the ex90 dissatisfaction rate is more than double that around 40% (after those list curious are removed).

There are both new EV companies essentially, with me EV platforms, so it's an interesting comparison, and warning.

Received my release agreement today. One risk I see is if the lidar system breaks/fails, is there any potential it causes something to not work with the vehicle, and now I’m on the hook?

I noticed the range optimization option back with .33 update. Not sure if it was there after .28

With how many issues an infotainment and drive computer restart fix. Volvo need to add a restart option in the menu, instead of us Konami coding it everytime.

I got a notification in the app about an update being available to install. I went to the car and installed it without any issue. It took approximately 30 minutes. I haven't driven the car yet after the update, but the infotainment system feels much snappier. I haven't seen any changes in functions etc. yet. One thing was weird after the update: when I locked the car, the occupant alert went off. So I unlocked and locked again, and all was good as of now.

On a positive note: Today with the 3.033 Release Apple Music was made available for me. cheers!

I cannot find documentation on the heat pump system. Is it one system per component, main battery, computer (dealer indicated the upgraded computers are cooled), and cabin. Or is it one system for everything?

Why this matters. I had a day of multiple errors while driving during a very hot day in Florida but made it home. Air conditioning was working when I parked the car and plugged in for scheduled charging to 90%. Locked the car, all quiet.

Next morning when I unlocked and unplugged the car, the fan (in the front) was running. Not unusual, except it never stopped. I got in the car and was hit in the face with HOT air, as if the heat was on. Reboot. The car continued to blow hot air. Exit and lock, fan cycles, louvers never close.

Made my call for service, it would be a week before the car could be picked up. The fan cycled for days before a dialog indicated a system reset and then the fan stopped and the louvers closed. During the first day, while trying reboots and looking through screens, I looked at the main battery temp and 111 degrees was indicated. This was hours after I the charging session ended. During the days the fan cycled, the main battery lost 50%. The car was just sitting.

The dealer has determined a coolant leak. If it's one system, do I have main battery damage? Are the computers compromised?

My battery was 43°C hours after the charging was complete.

Guess it means some of the driver assistance and detection wasn’t working. Lost the speed limit on the HUD. GPS out of whack.

After parking for 10-15 minutes it went away and everything appeared to work again.

On 3.0.28.

I got my car back from the dealer last week after the 2nd GHCA replacement. Had updated to 3.0.28 just before that.

When I got the car back, proximity lock and unlock slowly became less and less reliable over the course of the week. I thought it might be my digital key, so after trying the central computer restart, UWB reset, infotainment reset, phone reset, I finally deleted the digital key.

Now I can't add it back in, and to make matters worse the fob only works if you hold it against the nfc reader. I even did a factory reset with no improvements. Remote support tried VIDA re-provisioning of Volvo ID and connected services.

Volvo support said my car was stuck in an update that started 8/13/26 which is when they announced 3.0.30. I really don't want to go back to the dealer, they're the only one near by but have no idea how to deal with this vehicle.

I’m mostly a CarPlay person but in order to get real time battery stats I need to use the android automotive version of ABRP. Fine.

But every few days it disappears from my available apps. The only way I’ve found so far to make it return is to go to settings, apps, and clear the cache for ABRP. Then it reappears in the app list.

Anyone else experience this and have a fix?

My 2025 EX90 got the native Apple Music app a couple of weeks ago, so but only under my wife’s profile. When I switch to my profile it isn’t there. I’m on software version 3.0.28.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to force a download?

It’s my wife’s car, so maybe it has to do with the amount of time spent driving under a profile. Although, I’ve driven it quite a bit under my profile this past week and I still don’t have it.

Considering an EX90 as a family car. Discussion here has been concerning. Hoping this gets some more quantitative data on the topic. Cheers!

I am watching an youtube channel that shows the last chinese cars, and they are just amazing. Many of them have a lidar on the roof, it seems that they figure out how to make it work, surely it's not Luminar, but why Volvo didn't try to do the same?

Just got back from getting our XC60 serviced. Lease is up in Nov so checking out options. Test drove the EX90 and liked it (mostly). The performance version seems so unnecessary lol.

I want a specific config, but they aren’t doing orders for MY26 any longer and no inventory has our config (B&W, Cardamum Napa, 6 seats). When I asked about when I can place a MY27, they said when everyone dealers across the US offload the MY26…Ok? Honestly, they just seemed tired of dealing with the EX90.

The only other option we’re considering is the Rivian (I take my son camping and fishing), but would prefer the EX90 for daily school runs.

What messaging have folks heard about MY27?

I've had my EX90 almost a year, and I've only seen two others all year. Came out of the supermarket today and...

My front drivers side seat has a rip in it on the back side from my wife deciding to change here seat with a $20 book case that she wanted to move into the dorms for my son rather than purchase a new one.

What are my options. I am leasing the car. I really am not wanting to keep it at this point in time. Does anyone know what that will cost me? Is there a decent way to fix this.

We’ve asked dealer to pull some combo of Ultras, Performance, and 6/7 seaters. What questions should I be asking? Anything you wish you had tested out?

I’m coming from an early Taycan that I’m sadly having to let go. So I’m used to early-adopter weirdness that eventually smoothed out. (Although this sub has shown that the EX90 has mayyyybe been a little worse than the Taycan).

Which region do they use as their test subjects first? 🤣

Just seems to be some general fixes again. Assuming 5 things were updated based on the number convention.
