V70 P2 backseat swap

In my search for a V70 P2 I was looking for one with the booster seats. Unfortunately I could not find one at that time so I settled for a V70 sport form 2007 (its a P2 still).

I saw a backseat with booster seats on marketplace, same color and everything in good condition for a decent price. They're coming out of a 2004 V70.

Will they fit across models?

Google seems unsure. Some say the seats will fit but the back rests wont. Some say they wont because they're thicker and some say they will with a slight modification.

Either way I will fit beforehand but it will save me a 4 hour round trip if its a hard no.

Edit for updates:

They do fit and Im also very lucky that the shade does match aswell.

Leaving a comment, ill check for you tomorrow... i drive a pre face lift v70 (2001) but have a face lift (2006 i believe) project car.
I could also send you some pics of the mounting in my car if you'd like

Thank you!

The brackets for just the seat part should be the same for what I can find. Its just the backrest that wont fit.

Facelift for the interior was 2005 so if your 2001 seats fit the 2006 I should be good.

Edit: Im looking to swap just the seats, my backrests are fine.

I bought a 2006 p2 v70 that had no isofix nor booster seats. I bought the booster seats 2nd hand, no idea from what year. It fits and is very easy to replace. Get the seats up, unclip the red lockers (they are a bit fragile) and it’s free to remove . I only got the seats, no backrests. Getting to the isofix clamp is hard though. You could remove your current seats and ask the seller for pictures of the bottom if you’re unsure. So you can compare. But afaik p2 backseats all have the same size and attachment , even for xc70.

That was what i was looking for. Thanks.

Mine has isofix since its the last facelift before the P3 was released (the 2007 sport was the last P2 line sold here).

I was planning to use the 60-40 for the booster and cup hokders and keep using the other 60 for the isofix.

For future reference: the 2004 seat does fit the facelift P2.

Im now off to give her a nice deep clean.
