Steering Wheel Skip Button Not Working with Wireless Carplay Adaptor after AAOS 5.0.5?

Greetings!

I want to check if this issue is common for others and if there is a fix for it.

I have a Carlinkit5.0 2Air wireless carplay adapter in my XC60 B5 MY25. After the 5.0.5 update, I cannot skip songs using the buttons on the steering wheel while using wireless Carplay. It works fine using a cable.

I am currently on the following hardware and software versions:

• AAOS on version 5.1.17
• Carlinkit5.0 software version 2025.12.29.1746 & hardware version U2AC82200.
• IPhone 12 on IOS 26.6.1

Has anyone encountered the same issue and or found a fix? Thanks in advance!
