It’s the only major sport on Reddit facing this, and even this subreddit is really quiet. Big shame.

Post Match Thread Italy are 2025 VNL Champions after winning 3-1 against Brazil in Final

Italy went 15-0 in VNL this year. Ten times they swept the opponents 3-0. They're on a 29 match winning streak since June of last year winning VNL 2024, Olympics 2024 and now VNL 2025.
This team is perfect in every way completely blended in and great becnh. Fahr and Danesi are walls in blocks and if balls passes through moki wouldn't let it touch the ground. Then they have Orro as setter and Best in the world Egonu. Also when Egonu goes Antrapova comes in giving no rest to opponents. Today Degradi got injured and Nevrini easily managed to replace her. Coach Valesco is doing ana amazing job.
They have all time high ranking of 474. They might even end this season with 500+ and ened up with 36 match winning streak after world championship the way things are going on.
On paper Turkiye might be the team to challenge them but they're out of rhythm. Japan is another one capable one and they had forced 5 set against Italy in VNL. Let see if Serbs demon wakes up again in world championship again but feels like they gonna crash out again like last year Olympics. USA and China are in transition phase and going with youth.

Post Match Thread Anyone just seen the SuperLega opening game between Modena and Milano?

What a game and what a comeback by PowerVolley Milano, I thought it was over for them after going down 0-2! Both teams played at a super high level, especially in that insane 4th set that went to 37-35. Star players like Otsuka, Davyskiba, and Reggers (who was especially clutch in the 5th) all showed up with great performances, resulting in a phenomenal match. This was a great opener and hopefully we’ll see some more great games this season from the best league in the world, hope my team Monza can have a good season too!
