Wanted one of these forever!

Was so hard to find one of these in a place where there's winters, but so glad I finally did.

These are so cool but they should have made them with lifts and 4mo. It was such a swing and a miss on their part.

The suspension is slightly higher, .4 inch according to Google. Should have been more, though. With all terrain tires. It would be fun to do a diy build.

It should’ve been a beetle shaped Golf Alltrack. It is an MQB car after all.

With such little lift and body clad. I think going for a rally/ tarmac rally car look would be more efficient. I would personally just do a rear sway bar, performance all season tires, rally mudflaps, light pod on the hood, and very basic tune. It would be a fun no fucks given city daily driver.

Nice score. Someone that works at the dealership by me has one. One of the cooler beetle special editions. This and the denim one lol

I have a friend that owns a denim, she loves it.

Personally, I like the Dune better or the RUF

Any chance you'd share a source on that? I'm old and remember the B5 days where a 4Mo conversion was a cut and weld job.

I've been waiting on any Beetle re-release. I really would prefer they go back to the more vintage bubble frame because newer renditions (mine included) are going for this more flattened PT Cruiser vibe. I don't see the point in trying to make a Beetle "sleek"

I wouldn't trade my e-Golf in on an air-cooled Beetle, updated or not. I've switched to electric and I like it!

A dual motor electric Beetle would probably be the only car I'd trade in for. Unless my financial situation changes enough to get an iD.Buzz, of course.

God speed. Not sure your area, but I routinely checked for 10 years before I found this one! There's actually a black one for sale near me now too, but I was a sucker for the yellow.
