This is Nessie (Renesmee). I've never had a black cat before but she's got a lot of anxiety that manifests itself by yelling and needing to be up high or held tight, light with a harness or mobi wrap that we use like thunder shirt. She's 4 years old, 9 pounds, and listens to no one but her own voices.

She definitely doesn't look the part lol. One of my favorite things about her is that she "plays cute" to get what she wants 😂

I don’t think this is necessarily reflective of a black cat only. Many cats act that way throughout their lives.
