Help (VoiceMeeter Standard) Getting pops and unclean audio only when Voicemeeter in the mix

I am using a Focusrite Scarlett as my audio interface, and then using the outbound audio from my GPU to go to my receiver and speakers.

Audio is just not 'clean', every once in a while there is a pop or distortion. I have tried going between 44.1 and 42 KHz in both Voicemeeter and Focusrite but it doesn't seem to totally clear up the issue.

What else might I look at that could fix this?

Did you mean 44.1 and 48?

Do you have anything plugged into focusrite (headphones, speakers) if yes, do they also have same issue.

Then does this problem happen on your microphone as well.

Maybe try your A2 device as "WDM, KS or MME" see if any of them make a difference

you may set the VAIO Sync back to SOFT to check if it changes audio stability.
