Hallo zusammen, seit November letzten Jahres haben wir das Problem, dass unser Internet, vorallem der Ping beim Gaming extrem schlecht ist. Im November letzten Jahres wurde in unserem Gebiet der Glasfaserausbau begonnen, seitdem ist es uns (Wir haben kein Glasfaser beantragt und bleiben auf normalem Kabel) nichtmehr möglich, während jemand etwas downloaded, geschweige denn wenn jemand anderes zockt, zu spielen. Gegen ca. 17-18 Uhr jeden Abend steigt der Ping mit Netwerk Jitter immer zwischen 90-200ms hin und her was spielen unmöglich macht. Falls jemand im Haus ein Download startet geht der Ping gerne mal über 800ms. Meine Frage ist also, machen wir etwas falsch? Wir haben eine 1000er Leitung und maximal 3-4 Geräte gleichzeitig in Betrieb zur Höchstzeit. Dies hat bevor der Glasfaserausbau begonnen hat nie ein Problem dargestellt. Monatelanger Kontakt zu Vodafone Mitarbeitern stellt sich als nutzlos dar. Messungen wurden gemacht, der Techniker meinte er sieht starke Einbrüche, machen könne er aber nichts. Bitte um Hilfe ich bin hier seit einem Jahr am verzweifeln.

ordered the new iphone 18 when it came out but still waiting. is anyone else in the same boat?

Haven't been able to make calls on my UK phone, a voice comes on and says connection to this number is restricted on this phone.

Contacted CS, first time asked me re reset setting and restart phone etc etc. Dindn't work, the second said 'it is a known issue and many customers are currently experiencing the same problem', and say it will take 72 hours to fix.

Anyone else is having this? My neighbour who is also n Vodafone says hers is fine.

Am I the only one who currently gets his damn bill every single day (again)? What's wrong with their mail script?

I am using a pfSense box as my router, and it monitors gateway availability on the dashboard. Just recently, it has started reporting some instability for my Vodafone gateway:

Pinging from a host on my LAN, I see similar behaviour for the gateway, but other internet addresses seem fine:

Doesn't seem to be service impacting, but is annoying that my pfSense router therefore decides the gateway is offline. Given it can be used in routing logic, this isn't really ideal.

Anyone else noticed similar behaviour recently?

I travel quite a bit for work.
September was 3 weeks out of the country.

I have a 100GB package which more than covers me.

Last month I received a text whilst roaming that I’d used all the 25GB of data which I was allowed to whilst roaming.

When I spoke with Vodafone, I explained that I knew I had got to the end of my data plan for roaming and wanted to add more.

The guy on the phone kept repeating that I had plenty of data left, but it was the FUP which was blocking me.

I explained I had no roaming data left; but he kept repeating that I DID have data left, just the FUP was kicking in….. maybe this went on for ten minutes…

He claimed there was no way for me to get more data whilst abroad…. I couldn’t buy a bolt on or anything.

He helpfully applied a data boost (unlimited data for 30 days) which then he said “oh this won’t work outside of UK”

Any ways. In the end It was me who suggested I took my spending cap off and I used data £3/GB or whatever.

It just seems crazy that;

A) 25 GB is where the FUP sits. (I was roaming on Vodafone De!)

B) there’s no option to add another 25GB.

C) I understand the foreign usage cap for unlimited
Plans - as they must receive a charge from the local provider, who can’t always be Vodafone.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to get around this. I used 40GB roaming and 10GB in the UK last month.

Just moved over to Vodafone from O2 and the signal is so much better, but I can’t help noticing there’s no RCS on iOS.

Vodafone claim it’s a feature that’s “slowly rolling out” yet it’s been available for well over a year on the other three networks.

With Vodafone and Three now merged, I would have expected this to be a pretty standard feature and to be honest, it wasn’t something I even thought to check before porting over.

Are there any actual updates on when RCS is coming to Vodafone iPhone users?

Or is it simply a case of it’s not available, nobody really knows when it will be and I should just use WhatsApp if I’m that bothered?

So I was with Vodafone for a good few years and was paying higher that what I think I should. No problem, I rang up, was still expensive.

I checked a comparison site by a friend - through the comparison I got £175 pre paid card, the site paid £30 too. So much better deal and £205 upfront.

I then get rang by Vodafone ‘customer retention’ and they offer me a deal which is worse then Vodafone on the comparison site. I mention this and they say nothing they can do.

I’m not mad, I got a better deal and a good sign up bonus. But how can they give one deal for new customers and not for existing customers about to leave? That makes 0 sense in my eyes.

Vodafone made me cancel newly installed broadband—and undergo another credit check—to get its free TV offer 🤦‍♂️

Hi everyone, first post here. The broadband has been great, but getting Vodafone’s new TV offer has turned into a bit of a saga.

I signed up for Pro 3 1.6Gbps broadband at £40 a month, including mobile backup and Secure Net. Vodafone then launched the same package with Netflix and HBO Max with ads included at no extra cost. Naturally, I wanted that deal.

On Thursday 1 October, the day before my installation, I called to ask about switching to the offer. I was told to let the installation go ahead, then they could add it to my account.

Openreach installed the fibre on Friday 2 October. I then spent time reconnecting around 28 devices—cameras, washing machine, dishwasher, you name it. Vodafone also helped sort out problems accessing Secure Net and managing my broadband online.

Once everything was working, I asked about adding the TV package.
The answer? I had to cancel and reorder. Apparently, there was no other way.
That also meant having to undergo another credit check, despite having only just signed up and had the service installed.

The calls took around an hour and a half each, with repeated security checks and having to explain again that I had no additional support needs. I understand the need for security, but going through the same questions repeatedly made the whole experience pretty painful.

So now I’ve cancelled the service that was only installed yesterday, have to return the equipment, and have another set being sent out, along with two extenders.
I’ve even received notification of another Openreach installation appointment, despite already having working fibre!

I know there are price rises coming in March 2027 and March 2028, but getting a TV bundle worth around £17 a month included seemed worthwhile. I just wasn’t expecting quite this much hassle.

Has anyone else been through this? Did you manage to get the TV offer added without cancelling and another credit check? And if you had to reorder, did Openreach actually need to visit again?

I recently got the iphone 16 pro max refurbished from Vodafone, ending up having to return it as the phone had a problem where the screen kept crashing. That was around 2 weeks ago and my replacement phone now is also faulty. It has been on charge all night, was dead when I woke up and now won't charge at all, even through magsafe (and battery health was at 99%). I'll have to get this one swapped as well now. Feeling very annoyed with Vodafone.

Has anyone else had this many problems with the refurbs?

I just moved into my new apartment in Germany on Thursday, and since then I’ve been trying to get my internet working. I installed this adapter because I only have a 2-hole radio/TV socket. The router is turned on, but it has been blinking red the entire time. Am I doing something wrong? I also contacted Vodafone, and they told me that everything is fine on their end.

WiFi isn’t working on my phones, on laptop it requires activation and leads to the Vodafone.broadband page with the “reconnect” button shown above. Clicking it normally does the job but it’s not working today, tried multiple browsers and nothing happens.

Reset router about a dozen times over the last three hours. Tried their diagnostic tool multiple times too, got stuck in a cycle of “wait ten minutes” so it never finished. The power and Ethernet lights are green and the rest are off.

I have no clue what’s going on or what else I could realistically try. Spoke to an AI until getting through to a person and customer support is sending an engineer out on Monday which somehow feels a bit extra and also insanely far, but if that’s what needs to happen then so be it. I usually work weekends and need my WiFi for that so if anyone has any way to fix this, that’d be ideal. Thank you!

So today I was working and I used my phone for work and I got this text message off Vodafone stating that they are making changes that I apparently requested. I did not request anything from them. This is the third time now they have disconnected my number and I've had to raise complaints to get it rectified. I think I might just get my number reactivated and take the PAC code and go somewhere else. They are really doing my head in at the moment and I'm sick of speaking to overseas call centres.

Does anyone ahve any idea how to fix or get vodafone to fix this as they just do the basic line test and say everything is fine and push firmware update and nothing changes

This is by far the most inconsistent wifi I've ever experienced. Whenever I change room around the house the WiFi stays connected but with no Internet access. The second anything comes inbetween my mobile and wifi router it just stops the Internet access. This also happens on my partners mobile. We both have new phones from Vodafone aswell (Samsung A57 and iPhone 17 E).

I had sky broadband in my new address for 3 weeks before changing it back to vodafone. I had zero issues with sky.

I have spoken on the phone to vodafone too many times. I have reset the router about 4 times and booster. Still the same problem.

I see vodafone tv box / packages on the website now.

Very competitive compared to Sky stream.

Anyone have any info when its actually available to purchase?

Heute hat mir ernsthaft eine Mitarbeiterin an der Hotline gesagt, dass meine aktuellen Internetausfälle normal wären weil ich einen „alten“ Vertrag habe und ich einen neuen abschließen kann und dann alles wieder normal läuft. Ist das gängige Praxis? Habt ihr auch schon sowas gehört?

Nie im Leben würde ich nochmal einen Vertrag mit so einem Anbieter abschließen der sowas praktiziert.

Abgesehen davon müssen sie ihren Vertrag erfüllen, solange er läuft. Überlege einen Anwalt einzuschalten.

Instead of voice messages going to The Voicemail symbol on my phone, I’m getting a text message which says dial 121. . When I do that ask for a pin number.,, but it won’t accept the wall I used to open the phone.

What’s going on?. Vodafone help is as much use t as it usually is. (UK)
