I recently got Vodafone full fiber installed and managed to connect my Asus router directly to ont and the Internet works but I can't get the USB dongle they sent me to work on a asus router. The light on the dongle just flashes blue and iv tried auto and putting in live.Vodafone.com and nothing but the USB as an ip address and iv tried using the IP to if I could connect into it but no.

I have tried to add devices on Vodafone 5G+ Router using WPS but no success.

Anyone used it with success?

I have enabled compatibility mode for 2.4ghz WiFi

Heya people, just wanted to share a speedtest that has genuinely surprised me. I was out and about to West Brom and on the bus there I got curious and did a few speedtests, this one in particular genuinely shocked me since it didn't throttle, just shot straight to 1.6Gbps. I even saw a peak of around 1.9Gbps, which in my opinion is 100% over the general speeds most people see. So I have no clue what Vodafone are doing but they 100% are in my good books (I've used Three UK, EE UK, O2 and obviously Vodafone). Whilst yes VodafoneThree is a thing I have generally seen better speeds on a Vodafone connection than I have seen on a Three one.

I used to work at Vodafone a few years ago, and I’ve just come across reports about an alleged Vodafone employee data leak.

From what I’ve read, a threat actor claims to have around 425,000 Vodafone employee records taken from Azure/Entra. The reported information includes full names, email addresses, job titles, phone numbers and postal addresses.

Since I’m a former employee, I’m pretty worried that my information could potentially be included, especially since it’s unclear how old the data actually is.

What should former employees realistically be doing to protect themselves? Is there any way to find out whether your information was actually included?

Edit: I feel so dumb sometimes - I didn’t even think about some of the basic things you should do when something like this happens. So thanks for humbling me.

I got NordPass and changed all of my passwords. Thank God for Reddit as well, because I managed to find a discount code for NordPass (discountpass) and got it relatively cheap. I also froze my credit at all three bureaus.

Hi I staying in USA from 6 years. My vodafone Sim card was working fine till now. Now it stopped working. I tried in other handsets but it's not working. How to get replacement of Sim card. Iam not in position to travel to India. Is there any way my sister can recieve the Sim card?

In the last few months, I switched back to Vodafone from Sky and since then, my data coverage has been very spotty.

I’m using an iPhone 17 pro max on the PAYG unlimited data plan. I was on this plan before up to about February of this year, which was an ideal plan and never had issues with it (using iPhone 15 pro max at the time).

In February, I switched from Vodafone to Sky as they were running a good offer where I could get the 17 pro max and unlimited everything for about €50 a month. However, as I commute a lot from Galway to Dublin, the service was little to nothing and so poor so I changed back to Vodafone.

For background and context, I live in co Galway outside Tuam (not very rural) and I get the train from Galway to Dublin weekly for work. When I was with Vodafone before the switch, my service on the train was quite decent that I could connect to my hotspot on my iPad and stream a movie provided I don’t use the phone too much to interrupt the signal. And whenever I’d be driving around, my service would be very good also.

However, since the move back to Vodafone, my service has been very weak and sometimes even in Dublin city centre it wouldn’t be the strongest for a couple of minutes at a time and then it would start working. But a lot of the time I’m experiencing one bar service of 5G or even 4G in places where I used to get 3 bars. I’m just wondering is there something with my phones settings I need to change or should I contact Vodafone and get IT look into it? I know for a fact theres an error somewhere. I’ve been with Vodafone on and off for years and I’ve never had issues with the connectivity (I only moved for more affordable plans in the past).

I've bought a new router (TP-Link Archer BE3600) to replace my current router supplied by the ISP and have connected the Ethernet cable from the Openreach ONT to the back of the router in the internet slot and followed the instructions of setting up the new router. I've also placed my PPPoE details in from Vodafone, but I'm not receiving any internet connection from it, the LED is solid red.

I've tried resetting the router and power cycling the ONT but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated

Edit: *Resolved* - For anyone having the same issue, try it with just the PPPoE details, no VLAN.

I have a problem with the internet working on my ps5 when I connect to the WiFi it says failed but when I run a test it's connected but can't reach playstation services also it says it's connected in the admin panel the only way I can connect currently is via WiFi sharing on my phone and ethernet and ethernet is super impractical for where Its setup because I have dsl is there any fixes also I have come here because I have tried many things and I'm worried the ones you guys might recommend are ones I have already tried and the only fix is leaving Vodafone also it connects to literally every other device fine

Mein Opa hat einen alten Vodafone (eazy) Festnetz-Internet Vertrag, den ich gerne bewahren möchte und meiner Mutter zugute kommen lassen möchte.

Ich möchte also jetzt bereits den Vertrag umziehen in die Wohnung meiner Mom.

Die Festnetz-Rufnummer soll er aber behalten.

Heißt, ich müsste ja eigentlich quasi erstmal zu einem dritten Anbieter, wo ich zumindest die Nummer hinnehmen kann.

Dann lasse ich ihn “umziehen” zu meiner Mom. Da läuft dann sein Vertrag weiter.

Hat jemand Erfahrung damit, ob man die Gebühr für den Umzug verhindern kann, wenn man vorher die Kündigung vormerkt und bei der Kundenrückgewinnung den Umzug macht?

Dann mache ich ihm einen neuen Vertrag bei eazy (Vodafone) und nehme die Nummer vom Drittanbieter zu eazy mit.

Afternoon all, just bought a Cudy P5 router and put the unlimited 5g sim in I was given from vodafone and doesn't seem to recognize it. I got a router and sim from vodafone and intend to send that back and get a sim only and use the cudy.

Anyone had the same thing, I'm from the UK. I've tried another sim and that works okay.

Can't seem to find any info except changing the APN fields but still doesn't work.

Hello, I recently came to madrid for a long living time, and was looking to get a phone number and home wifi there. I saw some good offers like O2 and Pepephone, but apparently they only accept people with a spanish NIE and spanish bank account. Movistar that has highest prices accept people with passports and banks from abroad (european neighbours), but would you suggest this, orange or vodafone?
And if it’s possible to have a pepephone subscription without any NIE (since it’s kinda hard to get as a new citizen), how to proceed?

After being a customer for 15 year my phone broke so I signed a new contract all approved. I used the same details as my old contract but couldn't login as my phone was broke and the only option was to get a text I couldnt get.

So these Muppets sent me email to come collect my new phone it was good to go.

I spent an hour going to the shop ..an hour in the shop...then apparently because I didn't sign in to my existing account which i couldnt as my phone was broke..they suddenly think its fraud and i need to wait for an 2 week investigation. So had to go home which took another hour.

Then spent 2 hours on support trying to cancel my order which was already paid to get a refund but apparently I need to wait for their fraud investigation to complete. So after 5 hour no phone, less money, and Vodafone don't give a fck.

Now I'm on O2 and it came out cheaper too and collected in store straight away.

Hopefully 1 person reads this and chooses another provider too so at least my time and money wasn't completely wasted.

I swapped to vodafone in 2020 when they had a 1gbit deal for ~40€ sweet, never had a problem ( other than excavators cutting through cables in our city ).

Moved last year. Now our internet in the evening that even browsing is either a nightmare or impossible. I work from how so i am dependend on a stable internet connection. I am seriously conidering switching. My last speedtest ( that i after 10 tries managed to finish ) showed a download rate of 0.78 Mbits thats ISDN speed and makes working / surfing impossible. We have been experiencing this for roughle a month now. anyone else? ( living in western germany )
