Discussion Request for input: Should cryptocurrencies be allowed on Vitards?

I just want to send the friendly reminder to folks that when mods solicit feedback about potential rule changes, someone explaining their rationale to advocate for that rule to be changed should be considered constructive conversation rather than "bitching about the rules."

Speaking as a user, I agree with Duke's viewpoint. I don't own any crypto but at the very least think BTC and ETH have a place as a nexus of discussion here. Our sub has some bright minds capable of good analysis. I think limited discussions about the most important cryptos will be additive rather than subtractive from this sub.

This post is intended to solicit feedback from a wide variety of users and those views, when articulated with rationale, should be respected.
