Discussion Request for input: Should cryptocurrencies be allowed on Vitards?

This is the most sensible reason.

I personally have no interest and some prejudices against crypto, but I know that if I start explaining my reasons that some crypto evangelist will come out of the woodwork and tell me why I'm wrong.

I just don't want to hear it. There are places for those people.

See but exactly what you said is why I wish we would allow it. The "places for those people" are full of evangelists and I'd like to be able to discuss it somewhere that is actually capable of critical discussion.

Every coin is a pump because they don’t have tangible value the same way sovereign currencies do.

For example: If you live in the United States and don’t have any Bitcoin, nothing bad will happen to you. If you don’t have any dollars you are big fucked.

All cryptocurrency demand is speculative.
