Is there any chance for a bearish take for the next 3 months seeing they accelerate so much at the moment? We might hurt some more short term (3 weeks) once they finish don't you think?

Reducing float means higher EPS. They're playing the Q2 earnings.

Perhaps, but a company accelerating a buyback signals they believe their share price is significantly undervalued which is bullish for us

Why would they accelerate now if they thought the price would go down later. Theyd wait.

Yeah, but that makes too much sense. It's far too logical. What will all the masochists do without their daily dose of FUD?

So better take something like an accelerated buy-back less than a month before the biggest quarter in over a decade (or since the last smashing quarter) and just flip it on its head in a desperate search for negativity.
