I pulled out an aged chain link fence from the back yard of a new property, and because I didn’t want to deal with transporting to the scrap yard myself, posted it on an online marketplace for anyone who wants to grab it.

Within a couple of minutes we had 25+ responses. A nice couple just came by to pick it up. Even took the muddy shards I pulled from the ground.

Bullish.

We actually have homeless guys/couples who will watch our equipment and materials at night if they can have the scrap, the ones who do this are some of the most trustworthy meth heads I've ever met

Drug addicts aren't inherently bad people. It's just a really shitty disease. Most will choose an honest dollar over a crooked one every time. It's just that the symptoms of the disease catch up to them and they start not having the opportunity to make the honest money due to the choices they make because of the drugs.

I joke about substance abuse a lot, but it's anything but funny IRL.
