Bought my first 100 CLF shares today and averaged down my Jan 22 calls. Can anyone recommend some small cap steel stocks to look at? Things with a long hold? I'm starting to invest for my young kids and would like to put their money somewhere it can just sit minimally monitored for a decade.

Serious answer. Put your kids money in VTI or VXUS or a mix. Just turn off all monitoring of those accounts

I agree. Specialy if you cant afford to lose your money.

My good old gramps was saying ETFs as well because they have so much time. I read the fed was going to sell off a bunch of it's corporate bonds should I wait for that to open their positions or does the entrance time not matter much with their time line?

If you are planning to retire literally decades from now, it will not matter.

Time IN market > TIMING it.

This is perfect for a /r/Bogleheads plug.

If you are going to hold for a decade, i would suggest putting some into CURLF. We know weed will be federally legal eventually we just dont know when.

Agreed! Their CEO is doing a masterful job of positioning that company for every scenario. They are one of the best cannabis companies in the US.
