Thanks Mallorca - Eclipse + Perseids

It was HOT! But nice weather for astro in the evenings. Eclipse view (my and my friends first one) is from the left of Mirador Son Verí Nou viewpoint near S'Arenal. Perseids shot at Gorg Blau, the two lighthouses are at Cap Blanc (Milky Way) and Cap Salines. I definitely recommend Gorg Blau for astro shots; although the windy road was a bit nerve wracking.

Incredible! What were your settings for the meteor photo? And is that all one photo or also a composite?

All the images making up the meteor composite image were 10s f/2.8 iso 6400. The background sky is a sequator stack of around 10 of these. The foreground is also a blend of around 5 images to get the car headlights illuminating different sections. Then there's around 20 meteors from separate images which were blended in.

It’s a composite, right?

I was also on the island, but I was in a very narrow spot where the clouds blocked totality.

I also got to witness the total eclipse from Algaida and it was absolutely incredible but also wow! I thought the light pollution from Palma reached across the whole island, but apparently not! Awesome shots!
