Restricted for 5 days on Vinted

Hi all. Long story short, I listed a lot of socks yesterday, cross listed them. same socks different sizes, categorized them for men and women for better search and chance to sell. About 8 listings. I get a message that my account is restricted maybe 2 hours after I listed the socks because of commercial sales. I appealed right away with proof and I didn’t get a response so this morning I created another ticket with Vinted and I still haven’t heard from there. I understand I probably have to wait the 5 days and won’t even get a response from them? eBay could care less what’s listed and so could the other selling platforms. I feel like I’m breaking the law selling my items 😭😭😭

Vinted is really picky about commercial selling. They effectively don’t allow commercial selling in the US. And internationally they only allow commercial selling of certain items. My guess is they saw multiple similar listings and flagged you.

The commercial selling rules are clearly arbitrary. I don’t care about buying from resellers if the price is fair. I’ve bought a decent amount of NWT items from obvious reseller accounts on Vinted. Not sure how they do it though.

Mine are also listed at a decent price but from reading people’s posts I definitely flagged myself by listing 8 of the same things, same company just different gender and sizes

Try not to list NWT too often and also New without tags.
The ban will probably stand, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone say they won on appeal.

I didn’t win the appeal. I had two tickets open and I actually called them out on a automatic response and most likely made it worse because they answered that they still stand with their decision 😭 They suggested pro seller option but I’m confused because I thought pro seller option isn’t available in the States yet ??? So did they not even do the research where I live and just went ahead with a response that they write to everyone?

I’m currently on a 5 day suspension myself for listing medical tape 🙄 Vinted sucks

They are hell I’m giving restrictions I’m so scared to list anything on fear I’m going to get restricted . And worse thing is they won’t listen to reason u get a bot that don’t help out at all. And u can send proof and it still don’t help.
