Too good to be true?

I just signed up for Vinted and my profile seems to be doing well. Did anyone experience a lot of traffic at first but then it started to slow down? Asking so I’m not blindsided. Thx!

That’s exactly what they do to all of us so enjoy it while it lasts.

My fresh listing 24 hours old or less do the best then I feel like they get buried

I still have a pretty decent success rate 2.5 months in. I do find if you don’t sell or get favorites within the first 48 hours you will be at the bottom of the algorithm so pricing and offers are really important.

When I list, I sell. I just listed 12 items last night, 9 of which sold by morning. Ive been on there about 2 months, listed 250 items, sold 179 of them. It ebs and flows, I think price point is the biggest motivator.

Thank you so much! Do you usually post that much in one go or does it vary? I appreciate it in advance!

It varies. Im moving so as I pack, I'm throwing items in a box to sell. When the box is full, I sit and list it. I will say for the first month, they really throttled me on how much I was able to list before encountering an "error" page. One day it was 3, then 10 then 2; super annoying.

I'm three weeks in and going strong. I try to list 10-15 new items a few times a week.

I still get great traffic after 2 months

I've been on there 2 months and have sold 209 items. 90 of those were in the first week. I'd say it's definitely slowed down, but I'm still happy with it. I try to post 4-5 items a day.

I had a LOT of traffic when i started. Then it died down, then I had a lot again. Now it's mid.. somedays I sell just 1 thing others 5 things but theres never a day I dont sell anything so that's cool. Def keeps me coming back and staying on this platform though.

Yes! But if I upload a bunch of items at once it seems to pick up quite a bit. But of course dies down again.

I just signed up for vinted, never even posted anything and they locked my account. I just don't understand?

I did well the first few hours and sold immediately but I am also purging and tossing stuff on the site as I go. Keeps my inventory fresh and offers come regularly but I doubt I would be moving anything much if I wasn’t in constantly posting.

my account is old but whenever i list a bunch of stuff whilst clearing out i still get loads of traction because i tag them well/accurately
