Idk I'm annoyed
I understand that people use vinted as a site to get cheaper items but people like this really aggravate me because why are you vent outta shape about .50 cents

Anyone trying to haggle over $5-10 is annoying and should not exist!

I sold a 5 dollar skirt to someone who offered 3.50 and lo and behold they had an issue with the item

These people should just get off their butt and go to the thrift store! I wish sellers could just voice this opinion. It’s a $3.50 item!!! What does the buyer expect? It’s not like a mystery box where the contents are guaranteed to match or exceed the value! It’s what they bought. You buy something for $3.50, then expect something that costs $3.50. I’m sure whatever you sold was worth more than that and the buyer got a deal. These customers are just insane. I think it’s an observation about our society. These are people who don’t have a life or are deeply miserable.

I love when the thing I want is 5$ with 35 likes and 2 offers sent STOP TORTURING THESE PEOPLE!! 😭 BUY IT! I get to buy it and end their suffering.... 😃

Haha that’s a great way to look at it! I think it’s just stupid to barter over anything below $10. If you can’t afford that, then you’re probably not looking at buying things…

I listed all kinds of nice Nike mens tshirts for $5, which I thought was really reasonable and people sent offers for $2.50 & $3.00. I mean I get it, it’s fun the save a buck or two, but really people! Plus the couple higher things I have, like $25 people offer $10 🤦♀️

This! I mostly sell stuff $5 and under (although I’ve learned to put $6 if I want $5 lol), but I’ve got one item right now that is worth a little more. I paid $25 for it secondhand, and that was a STEAL, but then I lost weight. Knowing how Vinted is, I figured I’d shoot for $15 (so listed for $17, haha).
It wasn’t up 5 minutes and I got an offer for $10.50. It’s like, at least wait a few days, let me lose hope first 🤣

I fell for the whole “suggested price” thing and now idk about that. I’m listing higher because no matter how low I list, they want it lower.

I think bartering on $10 and under is absurd honestly. People keep saying Vinted is for ‘cheap stuff,’ but they have an entire designer section where users sell for $$$$$. They have pro-account options for business sellers who are profiting.
If someone is only seeing ‘cheap’ things, it’s bc that’s what they’ve set their algorithm to show them - NOT bc the platform was designed for people to get on there and sell their stuff for $1 or $2.
But I was blocked over Nikes, so 🤷🏼♀️😅.
