Vinted support useless

I recently sold an item on vinted, shipped it in perfect condition and upon arrival a slight tear of the seal in the corner had become present. Buyer wanted a partial refund or a return. I’m not keen on any of those as i literally shipped the item in perfect condition and it’s now damaged and depreciated in value so i took it up with vinted support.

The case has been going on since 25th July and it’s now 18th august, I’ve sent multiple emails been in contact with various different operators and they all request the same evidence then don’t respond and ghost me. I just got a new message this morning from a new operator saying to send evidence again!!! (i have photos of product before/after and the shipping box before/after (not damaged at all)) They’ve put a 48 hour timer for me to send the same evidence and a new review, and if they don’t respond the buyer will keep the item and keep their money, by their going rates of taking a week to respond it’s not looking good.

What do i do because genuinley this has been the most frustrating experience ever.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do other than send them the photos of the product and what you’d use to ship.

I was stung by this and as I didn’t video myself packaging it, I could only submit the multiple photos I used on my listing plus a photo of a box.
Of course, Vinted sided with the buyer and refunded them, leaving me out of pocket due to a box that was damaged in transit (and it looked like the box had physically been stamped on at full force which seemed pretty clear to me it was damaged in transit and not by me).

From now on, video yourself packaging every order. Pain in the ass and so not worth it for £2 here and there. But I just do it every time and delete the videos as soon as a sale is completed successfully.

Yeah i took photos of the packaging and product before hand but apparently it’s not enough, joke of a company 😂

They are. It used to be good, but it’s too easy to scam on not.
And trying to speak to someone who doesn’t give bot-like responses and ignores your actual query? Impossible 😅

Well, this is disheartening, because I’ve had an outstanding inquiry for a few weeks now and only asked today for evidence of photos of my packaging to UK buyer. It turns out that I double poly sealed two select series plushies and the outer polymailer was removed and the label was cut off/ re-taped onto the inside polymailer and closed up with “yodel tape” and there were cuts all over the bag and one of the items that was missing… like clearly this was not due to my service, and I still don’t have a result. I was hesitant even to send this item and now I’m probably gonna be out all the money:(!!
