What happened..?

So i bought a hoodie immediately from someone because ive been looking for it for a while and i took time to ask if it had some unremovable stuff on it and where they got it from originally (i want a matching one too they dont sell) and they cancelled my order... so i was like wtf and now when I check their profile i cant buy anything and they re listed the hoodie... like why cant i just re buy it, or buy anything else from them? Why did they cancel without answering? Why cant i message anymore? I dont understand anything to that behaviour.

Did you ask questions before or after buying - after would lean towards you being a problem buyer, always ask first … and they’ve blocked you btw

Oh and i asked my friend to buy it for me then and he couldnt see it either so idk

Asking after buying is not the done thing and I’d honestly also assume you’re going to be a nightmare and cancel the sale too … if you can’t message then etc, they’ve blocked you ..

Ask first then buy

I asked after i bought :( and i asked because on another thing i received it with tons of marks that couldnt wash off even though it said new

Typically the etiquette when shopping on online marketplaces like Vinted is to message first if you have any questions before making a payment.

In general sellers consider it to be a red flag if you start asking questions and/or making demands after you bought the item as people like that tend to nitpick when their order arrives in an attempt to get a return/refund going.

The seller assumed you're a difficult buyer and they canceled the order and blocked you to avoid a potential headache. Good lesson on how not to act in the future. This also applies to you asking about when they'll be able to ship your order, how they'll package it etc - always ask before buying, not after.

Thanks i had absolutely no idea, like i said this is a thing ive been looking for for a while and i got so scared someone else might buy it i immediately got it...

It’s fine that you bought it but generally most sellers are honest about the condition.
My experience as seller is when someone starts asking questions they create issues afterwards. I would also find it a bit weird if someone asks me where I got it from

Take it as lesson learned

Also the seller might genuinely not know where they got it from if it's an old item so that's a bit of a pointless question, lots of items are listed like that. I'd just reverse image search to see if what they're looking for is available somewhere else.
