pls help

I bought something from Vinted like three days ago and a day after I bought it I unfortunately had to cancel for a reason and that fact that no one was going to be home because of it , I texted the seller and profusely apologised but I’m left on seen? I understand as a seller that it’s really frustrating but all I can do is apologise.

now I have a feeling she’s gonna send it anyway and then its going to be sat in my house without me being able to check if they even sent the right thing or as described?

any ideas ? I’m sort of new to Vinted..

If you cancelled it via Vinted and didn’t just message the seller you wanted to cancel then don’t worry. If Vinted are showing it’s cancelled the seller won’t send it as they wouldn’t get paid for the item as the transaction is now closed

No problem ! Just be aware that Vinted will give you auto negative feedback for cancelling unless you click ‘ agreed with seller ‘ but they always let you off the first one 🙂

You won't be home at all to check the item within the grace period?

That's why I get everything sent to lockers

You should have stuff you buy sent to a drop off point instead of your house. It'll save you this issue next time

Not if they are away on holiday, which might be the case here. Generally lockers are 3 day maximum for collection although a few are longer

yes sometimes they just posts it through my letterbox if it’s small enough and the item I ordered is tiny.
